This Target is located at Potomac Yard, which has every business that you need. The parking lot at this shopping center gets very busy. I would recommend coming here during non-peak hours. Target is a great store, and I enjoy shopping at Target. We had several items that were needed and found everything with ease.

For work we had to make a Target run. Me, still being new to the area, relied on a coworker's suggestion that coming here would be quicker and better selection. Well, one thing was right in that statement. Being in DC and coming here was definitely not quicker. Especially since we had to go through the city, get on the highway, get stuck behind an accident, and then fight our way through Virginia highway traffic. Up side, at least I wasn't driving. When we finally got here it was a nice experience. A far cry from some locations I have visited. We were here to pick up gift cards and be on our way. It was easy to find them and we only had a little tie up at the register. We didn't know that there was a limit on how many gift cards you can purchase in one transaction. We had to do a few transactions. But when using the self checkouts you can take as long as needed, and no need to get back in line to finish the purchase of the rest of the items.

I've been coming to this store location for many years and today I needed to purchase a couple of home linen products, namely a pack of pillow cases and a new comforter that I have been needing for a while. While I was going around the store I noticed a package of socks that was priced very reasonably so I got that also. The value that this store offers is the best thing and the real reason why I come here. They still have a fair amount of summer outfits and I'm guessing that they will switch over to autumn type of clothing in the near future. Actually I noticed a couple of racks of sweatshirts and light jackets in the men's section. Their grocery section appeared to be the same as when I was here last summer, with very limited options. They have rows and rows of freezers for frozen food, but not the same spaces for just regular canned food.

TOW WARNING: We frequently shop at this Target and bring our two-year-old daughter to the playground around the corner. There's parking much closer to the playground, but we park at Target because we are shopping there anyway. On the July 4th holiday, we parked in the near-empty parking lot and took our daughter to the playground before doing our shopping. We came out to find that our car had been towed. Towing records indicated that they towed our car within minutes of when we parked, and the store manager informed us that we would have been fine had we done our shopping first and then gone to the playground. One Target employee told us that "this happens all the time." We had to pay $180 (including a surcharge for towing on the holiday) for the tow and another $20 for an Uber to get to our car 20 minutes away. Target should do more to alert its customers that you cannot step off the premises without being towed. Not exactly how a customer expects to be treated.

FYI customers!! I went into this Target location 6/25/23 (Sunday) and got double charged for my transaction at register and at Starbucks. Management at location is well aware this issue is happening to customers and giving customers a 1-800 number to call but don't waste your time and just call your bank to dispute. Double check your account if you shopped this particular location over the weekend everyone.

Today I made a return at guest services & the older lady with the name tag of Lisa ( coincidentally my name too ) was not very helpful. She was extremely rude, snatched my receipt and didn't acknowledge what I was telling her. Two ladies before me were also being treated that way as well and that is very inappropriate behavior to have , especially working in guest services. She would also have side conversations about me with another older lady that I could not catch her name. Very inappropriate behavior for grown ladies. Do not feel like this was a welcoming environment and will not be coming back here.

my first drive up pick up at this store this morning and two drive up advocates with no conversation or customer service skill's I asked were the eggs were bagged because I could tell things were all thrown in a big bag and of course the eggs were broken' I had to go inside and asked for a credit because those two girls did not know what to say or offer the lady at the customer service was not better equipped with customer service skills or maybe just in a rush. Horrible

For as much as we spent here you'd think I'd have a better rating, but we were very disappointed in the selection in both the food and the regular home goods sections. Lots of empty spaces for basics like light bulbs, but we picked up enough to get our son moving in the right direction. We also didn't find a whole lot of assistance when we needed it in the electronics area either. I know it's just a Target, but come on...get the shelves stocked and do a better job with customer service.

Received a $100 gift card. Unfortunately, Target sold the gift giver a compromised gift card and it had $0 by the time I received it. The gift giver no longer had the receipt, so Target refused to replace it, even though there were other ways she could have proven she bought it. Target told me to file a police report, so I did. The police were clear they do not investigate matters like this and it was between me and Target. Do NOT buy gift cards from Target - their security is very poor and this is a very common problem they do nothing to prevent or resolve.

Wish I could put zero stars. I was sold a fraudulent iTunes card, and the response from the manager at this store was basically . I'm not from this area, so it difficult to return to this store. This store is a blight on Target as a corporation. The employees seem to care less about their customers, or maybe it was just me that they want to screw over.

Worst target ever. Save your time and go to Arlington. There will only be one cashier open and self check out machines always broken. They never have anything left in stock and employees are rude as hell. The grocery section is filthy and I have found mold on food MULTIPLE TIMES!!Its honestly just real ghetto like honestly going to Walmart is a step up from this.

I've just finished 45 minutes of playing bumper cars in this Target. They seem to be shoving too much into the space. The aisles don't allow two carts to pass so one or the other person has to back out. It started as mildly annoying but left me wondering what the thinking is because annoyed people just want out. I guess it helped keep spending down because the experience was so unpleasant. I don't think this is a Target I will return to.

A REAL Target store in the DC neighborhood! By saying REAL, I mean that they got a huge parking lot (free), and huge selection of all kind of goods, in a typical target layout that everyone familiar with at home. Its really rare in the DC area when all the Targets are like boutique store with paid parking garage etc. Definitely a go to Targets if you are shopping for move in for colleges around DC area, it's close to GWU, Georgetown and AU. (About 15 min freeway)
