Very personal service and took excellent care of my two labs. They are extremely professional, responsive and informative about the puppies. I travel a lot for work, so when I moved to Alexandria finding a pet sitter was one of the first things I did. I contacted Tails to Scales, and Michelle arranged to come over and meet my two cats and get the lay of the land at my house. I could tell right away that she really loves animals and that she would take the time to make them comfortable with her. Since I first started using Tails to Scales and Michelle, I have added two dogs who also look forward to seeing her as much as my cats. Michelle has helped with puppy potty training on my long work days in addition to when I'm traveling. One of the very few times Michelle wasn't available for pet sitting, she made sure her substitute was familiar with my pets and their schedules. It makes it much easier to travel for work knowing that my furry family members are being taken care of so well! Highly recommend!

This company is one of the best pet sitting services we have utilized. We move a lot and so have experienced many. Both Michelle and Karen are caring and thoughtful individuals that were willing to deal with requests from a concerned pet mom. I always felt secure in leaving my two senior Yorkshire terriers home and knowing that they will have the very best care and consideration.

I have used Tails to Scales for years for both mid-day walks and vacation pet sitting. They are incredibly reliable and really care about the happiness and health of my dog. Having such a great (and affordable) resource for pet care takes the guilt out of leaving my dog home.

We have two cats who we love dearly (as all pet owners who have pets do!) :) and Karen was instrumental in providing us with pet care for our busy working schedules. They were even able to accomodate our special needs for one of our cats, who goes outside on a sort of 'hybrid' schedule (he's not really an indoor cat, but not really outdoor either). Tails to Scales went above and beyond in caring for our cats, over and above just cleaning litter and feeding. Our cats our like our kids, and we only wanted the best for them, which we found with Tails to Scales. Would highly recommend them to anyone looking for quality, dependable and super friendly pet care services for your pet family members (!!!) You will not be disappointed!
