I go in to cash a check, the lady come up to me to ask my she help me, I said yes I would like to cash a check, she said they don't have the money to cash my Suntrust bank check, 2809 Mt Vernon ave 22303 zip, WOW!!!!!! Is this a Bank, not understanding the reason why!! No Explanation

VERY unhappy with a current safety deposit box issue. Will give SunTrust every opportunity to rectify their poor customer service and resolve this issue. I am VERY disappointed and strongly caution anyone seeking the services of a bank safety deposit box to reconsider another option. I am also fully underwhelmed with staff. I requested at least twice in person during the initial conversation and again via email the usage of my correct title. I requested to be addressed as she addressed my male brother as we both carry the same professional title of Dr. Not sure if it was disrespect, situation frustration, belligerence, rudeness or a sincere void not understanding my repeated request to be addressed properly. Her overall demeanor especially in the beginning was monotone and I felt like an interruption. Regardless, it did not help our safety deposit box issue and process of resolution. This is the worst experience with a neighborhood business I have encountered in the 50+ years in Del Ray. To be fair, I will happily update this review and adjust as needed if SunTrust can resolve its error which not even an apology was offered. I am shopping for another bank.

This place is TERRIBLE ! I understand COVID has change a lot of new order. But , they kept my mother and I in the drive through for hours until they closed just to tell us they couldn’t help us. They locked my deceased grandfathers accs and told us they don’t know how it happen and that they could not unlock it. We’ve been dealing with THIS branch since April 14th , 2020. And we keep getting the run around .. this bank clearly steps over there boundaries when it comes to pay out to the executor of the will. Also , the lady named Katy is TERRIBLE , she doesn’t know her job well and she keeps giving us WRONG information. DO NOT GO TO THIS BANK ! The people there are unprofessional and senseless when it comes to simple task.

Such a pain in the butt! When opening my account the banker put down the current date (the day I went in) as my date of birth and I couldn't access anything online or over the phone. I had to go back into the branch. And when I did they didn't have the signature card that I signed so it made it even harder to identify myself! Filed out a new signature card... went back months later to do a wire transfer and they still don't have a signature card! Closing my account immediately!

i've had very good experiences at this branch office, so i don't know how to distinguish my visits from those who felt so cheated. the branch manager, william, has gone way out of his way to assist me. his interactions with other customers, all of whom seemed to recognize & greet him warmly, were impressively professional. the only reason i withheld the fifth star is because some of the tellers are way too friendly & chatty & that's not my way. i'm sure most others appreciate it.
