Lisa D’ambrosio-Irons. Lisa D’ambrosio-Irons! She is the MVP of not only this bank, but Truist as a whole. I had a hold on some payroll checks and the customer service line sent me to a different local branch which sent me to Wells Fargo. After a few more calls with customer service I tried this location and glad I did. Lisa was kind and didn’t talk over me like all of the other Truist employees I experienced.Lisa was able to assist me with the matter and followed up as she promised. Can’t recommend this location enough 10/10. Will certainly cross the bridge just to go to this location going forward.

I’m filing this complaint on behalf of my business. I went to truist location 300 south Washington street, Alexandria Virginia 22314. This was the worse experience I’ve ever had with a bank. The bank manager “ Lisa D’ambrosio Irons NMLSR# 618668 and bank teller “ P Dwayne brisko” is by far the most prejudice bankers I’ve ever seen. I have a business account with this bank. I walked into to the bank and tried to withdraw money and was denied access to for funds. I had everything that was necessary (my business debit card and ID) as well as other truist products like credit card for verification. Me being the only colored male that enter the bank in this time frame 9:00-9:35 I’ve solely witness other bankers letting other people deposit and withdraw money without any further verification. I even seen people withdrawing money without there debits. This happened on 10/11/22 from 9:00-9:35. There’s no reason I should be in a bank for 35 minutes just to withdraw my own money. Because I was in the bank this long I was unable to meet a client I was selling inventory to. I lost out on a 23,000 dollar deal. I do not recommend banking with this company if you are African American male. The longest I should’ve been in that bank was 5 minutes. Also I never received a apology from neither manager or banker for holding me up

If you are a suntrust customer go elsewhere. They dedicate tellers to BB&t and only have one suntrust teller that always has a long line and wait.

Amazing customer service!!! I opened a business account with SunTrust and have been pleased with their attentiveness, professionalism and even the joy factor they bring when providing answers to my many questions. Whether I call or email, someone is always ready to provide the support needed.Many thanks to the SunTrust staff even more specifically-- Gregory for the ongoing support and guidance!

OMG!!! I should have looked at the reviews before coming. Brought my new Au Pair and toddlers in toe to set up a simple student bank account. Took the kids to get ice cream to kill time once she was inside. Over an hour later we are sitting in front in the minivan and the transaction is still not complete? Really! It takes over an hour to set up a simple student account? Pathetic . The best and most expedient Suntrust Branch I ever went to was the one on Main Street, Annapolis. Those women were fabulous and they closed that branch. Banks have to be the next thing for technology and AI to revolutionize. Incredibly painful when you have to actually walk into a branch!

This is about Suntrust in general they are the worst. They wait a whole week later to post your transactions ( which only take 2-3 day with all banks to post transactions) so it's hard to even know how much you actually have in your account , then when your account overdrafts (due to unposted transactions) they have a $36 overdraft fee and it definitely will be charged . The first time it happened I was thinking it was just a mistake. I went to my normal branch location and they gave me my money back and everything was fine. As time progresses, they still are doing the same exact thing a mistake does not keep happening and I do not have time to keep running to suntrust when this happens. I have 2 jobs which I am a cashier at both , everytime some one comes there with a suntrust card (which is rarely) I ask them how do they feel about the banking, come to find out I am not the only person with this problem.

Fix the damn ATM, other day took my card and wouldn't switch options for 15 mins. Called the useless automataed help desk and eventually the computer logged out and released my card. It also took about 3 20 dollar bills that didn't register correctly and didn't correlate with my account. How hard is it to maintain a damn a machine

I sent a customer with a company check to cash it and Sarah Wardak the branch manager did not cash the check. Sarah called our Dealership to verify that the check was real which we did and even gave her the names on the account and said yes we authorize that check to be cashed and she still said she doesn't want to cash it. When I asked if it had anything to do with the customer being a young African in sweatpants with a $10,000 check she stated she did not have enough money in the draw. Now I'm not the smartest guy but when a bank doesn't have enough money to cash a check something is wrong. However I'm also wise enough to know if that was the case then why did you call me and verify the check? Racism still exist and unfortunately Suntrust Bank allows its customers to experience it first hand.
