they didn't speak english to well so it was hard to express to them what i needed, asked for knotless didnt get that, and didn't realize until she got to basically the front and i asked her multiple times . Then i asked for the braids to be smaller than the ones in the photo i showed her , and she did, but didn't care to have the parts match the size of the braids. originally we agreed on 150 and in the end she said 160, i didn't feel like arguing with someone who doesn't speak english so i paid and left

I wish I could give 0 stars. If you want to be followed around, this is the place to go. I wasn't even greeted by the worker at the front, but I was followed as soon as I walked in and watched down each aisle!! I finally found what I was looking for while the lady just stood at the head of the aisle, acting as if she was looking away. I decided to leave, and of course, as I'm walking out is when she wanted to ask if I needed help. Hell no, and I'm going to walk out of here empty-handed, with my money in my pocket! Learn to treat people with respect, especially if you want their money/business!!

Visited 18 April 2020 and was pleasantly pleased with their selection and customer service. I was able to pick out what I needed without being followed and all questions I asked were answered even with the barrier of being masked and gloved. I was even complemented on my corona protective gear, so with my customer service experience I may have to make this my go to beauty supply store.

I've been coming to this Ethiopian-owned braid shop since my discovery of them in 2015. Ati is my stylist and her hands are truly Blessed! No matter the hairstyle, she does a phenomenal job EVERY time! Whether a twisted Mohawk, tree braids, or a beautiful Eritrean style she gave me, her attention to detail is impeccable. The ladies in the salon are always sweet and very welcoming. I'll be

Kide has been doing my kinky twists for years. Pros. Kide dows a great job, competitive price, quick, hardly ever wait for longer than thirty minutes, no pulling of hair or tight twists, and they take credit cards. Cons. Grungy space and bring your own hair and hair products because they use cheap stuff and the beauty supply there is overpriced.

These ladies are the real deal! Incredibly creative styles and also traditional habesha (ethiopian -!: Eritrean) styles. No frills but great work. You can also purchase hair at the storefront upfront. The salon is in the back of the store. Thanks!

This tgi Style & beauty Salon hair braiding shop is a joke. They do not "No" how to braid or talk to customers (Bad customer service). The ladies doing my hair stopped to talk on their cell phones, stopped multiple times to talk to friends and family and do another people's hair. I had an appointment but, that didn't mean anything. I asked for Tight braids and they gave me loose, slipping, multiple length and thickness size twist that I did not ask for. I asked them to fix it because, I only got them done five days ago and the owner/manager said "My hair was dirty" so, she couldn't fix my hair that had Untwist, slipped out and to short to see or hold with two fingers. She didn't even offer to give me my money back of $140.00 or a discount; just a sorry. I will not go back nor; will I refer anyone there.

Bang-for-your-bundles! Ethiopian owned hair salon attached to a beauty supply shop. My weave install was beautiful- and fast! Grunge space so don't expect complimentary wine lol Entrance: Main entrance is through the beauty supply store BUT once the supply store closes (5PM) you can access the hair salon through the back of the building- behind the dumpster/ not a pleasing sight. Services: I walked in/no appointment for my first visit- dived for the weave. Cost $80 for the install. If you buy the hair at the adjacent beauty store (Korean owned), a discount is applied. They seem to offer various styles including crochet, hair braiding ($35 all styles for kids), weaves and basic wash & blowouts. I paid $25 to get my hair washed and set in rollers. Atmosphere: Though they serve an array of clients, I saw Black American clients, but majority are Ethiopians and all the beauticians are Ethiopian. This may lead to communication issues so come with an open mind. No frills inside; TV/entertimemt
