I absolutely adore my peloton but came hoping to get a good workout and begin building community. Unfortunately, the members of the studio were extremely rude, loudly expressed that they hated how new people slowed the workout down, and moved away from where I was because they said I would need too much help and would be getting in the way. It was awful. I did let the manager know it was a bad experience and they said to come to another class. So here is the thing, why would I come back if you foster such a community and treat new comers so poorly. Overall, not something I found welcoming.

I had previously tried out a lagree class in California after going to pilates for a while thinking it would be cake. It was not. After I moved to Alexandria, I decided I would try out solidcore and it did not disappoint. The workouts are absolute torture, but in a good way. I'm getting my butt kicked for 50 minutes and questioning my life decisions, but I leave feeling sore and amazing. I will definitely continue taking classes here. Fortunately, I have never had a hard time with booking classes and the instructors have all been awesome and good with making corrections to help me.

Came in to complete my Classpass trial as this place was 15 credits (Jan 2024). For here you'd find street parking, and if you go outside of 4-7pm M-F, parking is free. Note that they give you a passcode upon signing up for a class. The number pad is to the left of the entrance. When I walked in no one was at the front to greet me which I thought was unusual for studios. I found my way around to the lockers and bathroom before class, and ultimately found myself an open reformer in the main room. We had a sub Derika that was brand new as a teacher, but class was still equally challenging. It was a 7:30pm class so I appreciated her pacing and volume of music -- not too fast and not too loud. Plus her cueing was very clear and she encourages you with hands on assists and calling out your name. I really appreciated her class. Upon walking out, I noticed that they offered complimentary lifesaver mints, hairties for class, earplugs (didn't need them thankfully!) and liquid IV (yuzu pineapple). They also had hand sanitizer and tissues for personal use as well. There are towels that you can buy for $8.00 if you know you sweat a lot during class. The only critical comment I'll make is that it smelled like sweat and water mold upon walking in. As a neurodivergent with heightened sense of smell, this wasn't appreciated, but I'm glad the studio itself was free of this smell or else I would've left. This is where I deducted my star. Nonetheless, I'm glad I got to experience solidcore through classpass. I won't be renewing my classpass at this time, but in the future if I do, I will continue to come to solidcore!

Literally the most challenging workout I've ever done. This location is ALWAYS busy in my experience so it's a bit tough to get in for classes but the instructors are awesome. I always feel challenged doing Solidcore and even though I've taken a lot of classes, I haven't really plateaued and still feel like I'm getting a good workout in.

Street parking. Code to enter. Easier to open with the app. Clean inside. Seems like a secure building. I definitely enjoyed my workout. It is very intimidating but I can see how a person can yield results quickly

I took the beginner50 class. It was the best workout I’ve had in months! The instructor, Claire, was great. Very professional and knowledgeable. Can’t wait to go back.

I think Solidcore is great if you like pilates. It wasn't for me but I think the facility is nice, clean and the instructors are knowledgeable and kind. I'm giving it 1 star because of the difficulty in reaching someone without having to physically go to the studio, at which point, they still won't help you but tell you to email someone. The contact phone numbers are forwarded to the instructors phone and they decline calls and won't answer. I wanted to terminate my membership after my trial period. I emailed the person I was referred to, he told to fill out another form, which I did. No one ever responded to me and over a month later, they charged my credit card another $275. This is extremely frustrating. It seems they're focused on classes but not so much on their members. They need to do better.

I had a 7 am classes came like 1 or 2 minutes late the instructor was walking around seeing me struggle to open the door. Be aware this is my second class, I am so disappointed on how they seen a person struggling to open the door and not helping. I am coming from Arlington which is 20 minutes away, no receiving my class and going back it’s not a good impression of a place. don’t recommend this studio.

Jake is an incredible instructor and this is a highly effective class to really fatigue the muscles.

Love love love it so far! I just finished class number 3 today. It’s by far the hardest workout I’ve done in my life and drastically different from any type of working out I’ve ever done. As this class opts for slower movements vs a high number of reps. I’m looking forward to all of the classes I booked for this month. Destini, Dani, and Jake have been awesome teachers so far. The music is great and they help to really challenge you. I definitely feel stress free after the class and it gives me 50 mins to just zone out and focus on me.

I gave [solidcore] many chances only to end up with an injured left elbow and very little improvement to show for it. If you're looking for a fitness program, I recommend you avoid [solidcore] and try one of the many other gyms in the area.First and foremost, I could never find a regular coach to work with. The turnover is rapid, with coaches going to other branches or disappearing entirely. Google "buzzfeed solidcore ceo harassment" and you will understand why.The exercise routine itself quickly became repetitive. It was the SAME situations targeting the SAME muscles, again and again, even if the class title was different. Whether it was "leg wrap & chest" or "hamstrings & arm wrap", I found myself doing the same movements.Needless to say, I ended up with an injury. After a dozen classes where I sometimes spent over 20 minutes doing planks, I got an inflamed bursa. [solidcore] then delivered their final insult: I asked to cancel my account, only to be told that there is a 30-day cancelation requirement. I am now suffering from pain, unable to exercise, and [solidcore] will charge my card for around $200 for classes that I cannot attend.Avoid [solidcore]. There are many great options in North Virginia. Don't risk your health for a fad.

Despite leaving every class feeling like I've been run over by a freight train, this place is awesome. It will push you to the edge of what you think your body can do, but every time you come back, you realize you can do a little more. Special shoutout to Claire who is a great instructor.

This place is trash. Drove 40+ mins in traffic to get to class and they wouldn't let me participate because I was 3 mins late. Waste of time coming out here and disappointed with how I was treated in an empty class with plenty of space and empty machines. Never again.
