Come to Salon 46 and see Hilda! I’ve been a client for over one year and she does a great job every time! Hilda is attentive, skilled, and friendly. She accommodates me zoning out during my visit which is therapeutic after a long day. The products she uses and recommends do wonders on my hair. My hair is much healthier. I highly recommend making Hilda your next stylist!

I’m pretty easy going and I’ve never been disappointed in a haircut/color until now. I just moved here and relied on reviews to book and feel so misled. I could see it going downhill the second I walked in. It’s a very quiet salon with an older clientele vs a busy and buzzing salon that I’m used to. I sat in the chair and was immediately insulted, being told my hair was too dry, too yellow and the end needed serious chopping (even though I get mine cut every 12 weeks). If I was brave enough, I should have left then. She wanted to put some lowlights in which I agreed to but the “balayage” was a mess. It’s two different colors, likely because the toner was never left to sit. It looks like my hair is gray underneath. And my cut got rid of all of the layers I had and the blowout looks like I did it myself. The best part of going to the salon is having a fresh blowout. This was nowhere near worth the $365+tip I paid, I will not be going back. The team has reached out to offer a fix but I don’t trust them to get it right after already wasting my time and money. Wish I could get a refund.

Hilda is the best stylist! She has cut, glossed, and styled my hair for a few years now. She patiently takes her time listening to what I want (and don't want) in a hairstyle, and she nails my Insta and Pinterest inspo photos every time. She is so genuine and caring. She recommends the best products for my hair, but she's never pushy about next appointments or product purchases. She gives great hair and beauty advice, too! I always look forward to catching up with her at our appointments and trading stories about our pups.

if you’re going to book here, book with Priscilla. i have very curly and stubborn (not to mention heat-damaged) hair, and came in for a cut+color+blowout. first of all, my needs were surpassed in terms of the color, she analyzed my skin undertones and chose my color accordingly which I really appreciate, because i have extremely fair skin and that’s a very make-or-break thing for me when it comes to getting my hair dyed. the cut was beautiful; i had to take a bit off because of my heat damaged hair, which i was not excited about— however, she made me fall in love with the shorter look on myself. I just recently booked again for another shampoo + blowout and am considering asking for another trim as well, even though my last appointment was less than a month ago. lastly when she was done my hair was so sleek and shiny. i’m talking falling off the bone it was flawless. i booked with her again and plan on doing so for the foreseeable future. hairstylists aside, however, the prices here are extremely fair and the work is beautiful. really happy to have come across here!
