Let me start off by saying I have nothing against homeless people, or people in need of money in general. However, when I see the same people day-in and day-out, standing at the entrance and exit of an establishment such as Safeway, it does become annoying. That is the case at this Safeway. This Safeway's location isn't the best. The store is ran poorly and there never seems to be enough cashiers working. This place could use a little cleaning as well. There isn't really much to say about this place. The parking look is decent. The store is attached to a bunch of other stores, in a complex setting. Yeah, that's about it.

My plan was t eat at a nearby restaurant, until I saw the line to order food from there was nearly out of the door! I came here instead because it's located in the same shopping center. They have these pre made deli sandwiches that are a very good value. I've purchased both of the tuna and Italian 8" sub sandwiches from here, and today the Italian sub sandwich was actually marked down to $5.00. it was an easy decision. While I was at Zit. I also got a sparkling bottled water, and some crackers to take with me. I didn't see any sit down dining room option so I'm pretty much going to eat lunch in my car today. It was less than a 3 minute process from the time that I walked in, until I left the store.

Not one of my preferred Safeway locations - while it is conveniently located inside the Van Dorn Plaza, the items that they have available are either not fresh, ill-prepared, expired, and/or all of the above. The deli/hot food counter staff are friendly, and they did recommend in me trying out their Shepherd's Pie, which was pretty tasty - just make sure you warm it before consuming it. I also feel that they don't have a variety of selection as other Safeways do - prices aren't competitive, and there are always faux markdowns, incorrect pricing, etc., and you find all this out when you're checking out at the register. The store also is in need of a facelift or a complete reno. Plenty of parking in the plaza lot, but be aware of fast drivers and those who don't stop at the Stop sign! +expired, ill-prepared, and/or old items +inaccurate pricings +located in the Van Dorn Plaza +plenty of parking in the plaza lot

On Sun Feb 5,2023. I bought yogurt covered raisins. Expired in Oct 2022. I didn't realize until I already gave some to my 1year old nephew. This was my first time visiting the store . I Don't know if I will be back. The prices are too high to pay for rotten or expired food.

This is a very convenient location! They always have a massive selection of anything you would need. The only thing that I can even think to complain about would be the scales of the checkout thing that mess up sometimes and you have to have somebody come over and tell the computer to ignore the weight.

Has pretty much everything you need for groceries. Clean and the staff is generally nice and helpful.Main downside is when busy they run out of carts which is annoying.

This Safeway is a mess,I go because it is across the street from me. The lines are ridiculous all lanes never open, lack of selection in products and the produce section is awful. The produce is either wilted or old or both

I come this store pretty often since I live right across from the shopping center though I have had the worst when I say the worst one of the rudest people in customer service her name is TIffany I asked simple question and she went off on me I was shocked to say the least…TIFFANY sis If you don’t like your job anymore you just have to leave no need to be nasty with customers please. I have asked them to talk to the manager LIZ and she wasn’t around. Unsatisfied with the service.

Great food store with a good quality selection of produce. Low prices compared to other stores like it in the area. Always ample parking. A plus considering the area that it's in. Definitely make it on your list of places to shop in the area. Staff are also friendly and willing to help you out. Location is also convenient.

This morning I went to the bakery to ask about birthday cakes. Lisa spoke with me and was so incredibly helpful and kind. I asked her about the different cakes, found 1 that I thought would work. I then I walked to the cake sold by the slice area, and asked which of those cakes would taste the same as the cake I choose. Lisa quickly realized she didn't have one out that would be the same, she excused herself and went in the back. She came back with a small slice of cake and some icing for a sample. Her effort really impressed me especially because the bread was just coming out of the oven and I was worried I was holding her from handing that task. Employees like this, that go the extra step to get a client are so valuable!

Always clean and well lit. They do not always have enough staff so there can sometimes be a wait. The lines for self check out have average wait times.

Just want to say there's a new cashier working there and she's one of the nicest person I've ever met. Always seems to be I a really friendly mood. Very good customer service skills. I think her name may be Rachel if I'm not mistaken. She really brighten may day when I come there. When ever I go there and she's working I'll make it my business to get in her line. You guys need more people like her, she's a real asset to your company.
