We dropped off our car at 9 30 am and asked when it will be finished, replied was 2 to 3 hours. 5 hours later not finished and expecting ready by 4:30pm.

DO NOT bring your car here if it's still worth anything to you. I dropped my car off for a new windshield. I left it overnight as they said it would be fine there. I completely understand mistakes and accidents happen. They didn't have a part for my camera and they let me know I would have to bring it back in when the part arrived. No worries. I understand that completely. But when I came to pick up my car the next day, the passenger side of it had been hit and scratched up by something. And looked like someone tried to wipe it off so I wouldn't notice. I go back inside and ask what happened to my car. I was met with absolutely no care or concern in the slightest. At least get up out of your chair and look at the damage. But nothing. Just a shrug of the shoulder and still no response from branch manager. Unreal.

Was driving down the highway, and a huge rock popped up from behind a tractor trailer. The rock hit my windshield and shattered it on the spot. Contacted my State Farm claims office, and they recommend Safelite AutoGlass repair service. Contacted Safelite AutoGlass, and got an appointment within days of the incident happening. I was able to elect a remote service appointment or an in office installation. I choose the in office installation. I arrived 10 minutes early for my appointment, was greeted by “Alan” who had me already scheduled for the day/time requested. I was told it would be 90-120 minutes for the installation, but that they would work quickly to get me back on the road. As promised, I was in/out in under two hours. The technicians I encountered were all friendly, professional and courteous. Their office location was clean, free coffee for customers and a bathroom that was absolutely “spotless.” I would highly recommend this Safelite AutoGlass repair shop if you find yourself in a need. Thanks, Safelite!

I've had a lot of bad luck with windshields lately, plus one recall, and this location of Safelite has always been amazing. The technicians are professional, kind, thorough, and very clear in regards to their post-installation instructions. They take care of all of your insurance claim issues, giving you a headache free experience. Definitely recommend this location.

Worst experience ever! I had reserved a spot through my insurance, Geico, only because of the vicinity of this branch they were assigned to me. They gave me an appointment for 2 weeks later, 2 weeks! if you know anything about windshield cracks, you know in 2 weeks the crack with extend to the max length because of the interior-exterior temperature changes. I waited patiently for my appointment, which was Friday May 17th 2024 ween 1-5 pm. I received confirmation emails through both Safelite and Geico. On the day of the appointment I hear nothing from the technician, I called Safelite at 3:00 pm, they put me on hold and talked to the branch. The message I received was that "The technician is out of town, and the only way that you will still have your appointment today, is if you go to the branch in person". This absolutely absurd and unacceptable. I still went to the branch because I wanted to get this 2 week old crack fixed. I go there 3 are 3 technician walking outside the branch chit chatting and laughing and by 4:30 (the branch closes at 5:00 pm)2 of them get in their cars and leave. Last one remaining yells at me in the parking lot as I'm walking in the office, that he can help me. I show him the crack, he looks at it for 2 seconds, and tells me that it's not fixable and the whole windshield needs to be replaced. I ask him to start the paperwork, we go inside, and he tells me that my deductible is too high for the price of the replacement. I ask him for a quote and he says: " he can not provide a quote unless he cancels the insurance claim". I tell him not to do that, I need to know how much it costs first, before I decide to go through insurance or not. and he continues to refuse to provide me with a quote!!! This is again absolutely unacceptable. I understand that it was 4:30 pm on a Friday and I felt he just wanted to get rid of me. I walked out of the branch with no resolution, because his explanation is just absolutely unacceptable to me. This is terrible customer service. I will definitely file a complaint through Geico and through Safelite about this.

I recently had my windshield replaced at Safelite Auto Glass, and the experience was fantastic. Nelson, the technician, was outstanding. He was super courteous and professional, making the whole process easy and stress-free.
The service was quick, and the quality of the work was great. From scheduling the appointment to getting the windshield replaced, everything went smoothly. I highly recommend Nelson and this Safelite location to anyone needing windshield repair or replacement. They really know how to take care of their customers.

Please read the reviews prior to using this place. I made a mistake of walking in. They said "they will fix the crack" 1 hour after they fixed it the crack exploded. I took it to another shop. They immediately guessed who did the "repair" If it's a repairable crack the average cost is about 70 and they charge 200. This shop told me they should have been honest and told me I needed windshield replacement. When I called back they try to charge me 3 times more than the other shop but they will apply the initial repair to it. Get second opinion before you get ripped by this company.

I would recommend Safelite AutoGlass Alexandria, VA a million times over. I was the first appointment of the day, the tech arrived early. He and the manager were very knowledgeable, explained everything, kept me updated on the progress of my repair. I was in and out. It was the best customer service experience I have had in a long time. Nelson and Alan were the best.

I made a short-turn appointment with Safelite after my Tesla's front windshield spontaneously cracked in an uncovered parking lot. Alan, the technician, and the entire staff at the Quaker Lane location did a phenomenal job replacing my windshield. The day before my appointment, they called to see if I could drop off my car the evening before so the replacement could begin early in the morning the next day. This made a major difference in how fast they were able to complete the work as they needed to work with Tesla support to complete the calibration process. From the time work began, it only took two hours to finish the new windshield installation, including wiping down the car and replacing my car inspection and parking stickers. It's been several days since the replacement, and the calibration and rain sensors seem issue-free. Thanks again to Alan for his quick and diligent work!

Quick scheduling and service. Manager called before I left to drop off my car and told me that the replacement windshield was damaged, which I appreciated because I did not have to make a trip for nothing. They found another replacement and were still able to complete my service that day.

05/03/2024: I would not recommend hiring Safelite Windshield Repair on Quaker Ln, Alexandria, VA. Although their Safelite's website provides specific instructions on what to expect on the day of their services, their technicians, employees and especially their management are completely clueless. They do not know or follow the protocol listed on their website. I was not sent a text or email to alert me of their travel or arrival, nor did they read my remarks on the contract as to the location of my car with its key. The tech never made it to my car. My Ring camera didn't capture any Safelite Vehicle anywhere near my house and especially my driveway. The tech claimed to have arrived and since I didn't answer his 2 telephone calls from a personal phone number (I get too many calls from unknown numbers) he claimed to have arrived and then left to do his next job. When asked, he said he couldn't return within the 4 hour window they had scheduled. I took off work for that specific 4 hour window. Their on-duty manager said it wasn't their protocol to ring the doorbell, which obviously the tech had not even considered. I was home on my back porch eyeing my car with its key in it parked on my driveway. Even though the tech told me he had tried "all that was possible" to reach me, I got no text, no email -per their website- nor a simple ring on my doorbell. When told of the email or text notification noted by Safelite's website, the tech said he didn't know anything about that. It's on their website! There's nothing on their instructions about expecting a telephone call. I had already paid for the service. I expressed the above to the tech and he wasn't bothered by it nor by my intent to call the office management. I quickly learned why. They are clueless as to what's advertised by Safelite and didn't budge to assist an unhappy customer. Their on-duty manager simply left the decision to their tech on whether he could return to my location and the best they could do was to return hours later beyond the window we'd scheduled. Based on the Tech's call time, he used 15 minutes of the time that Safelite claims it can take to replace a windshield -90 minutes. They tried nothing to fulfill their contracted service and found it easier to cancel my contract and refund my payment. Do not use this company!

Nelson and Juan are the best of the best! I would explain but just trust them! Fast and on time! Did a phenomenal job and could definitely tell they were experienced to the MAXX!!
