I walked over here for lunch and it's situated about 4 blocks from my office. My initial thought was to purchase one of those prepared delis sandwiches. I've had their Italian and turkey 8" sub sandwiches from here before, and their food has always been delicious. At right around 12 noon they apparently had not yet prepared any sandwiches for the day. While I was around the deli section I did notice several prepared pizzas, and they looked too delicious to pass up today. Allen from the pizza section provided me with exceptional service today, and it was apparent that he was mighty proud of the pizzas that he prepared personally. He described the supreme pizza and it sounded like something that my stomach was waiting for! He went out of his way and heated up 2 of the supreme pizza slices and then boxed them up for me. I took them to my office, and I actually had not had pizza that delicious inquire some time!

Some improvements at this store in recent months, esp re customer service. Carts more abundant and, finally, hand baskets are usually at the door (important for a store where many buy only a handful of items). Item availability still sometimes spotty (even for very common things).

Nice clean store with everything we needed to stock our Airbnb. They even had some fresh sushi to go! I was there late at night and one of the employees (Oscar? Middle aged African American man. Sorry I can't recall his name with confidence. One of my kids puked on our flight to DC) kept an eye out for my Uber driver with me. I thought that was super considerate of him.

I go to this Harris Teeter because it's close to work and I can grab groceries before heading home. In general, I'm a big fan of Harris Teeters, but this location is slowly disappointing me. The employee's at this HT are overall friendly and helpful, there are no complaints regarding. On three separate occasions, I have either accidently grabbed something or purchased something that was expired. Bought some crackers, thought they tasted stale to realize it was 4 months past it's best by date. Grabbed some baby yogurt, best by date was almost a month passed. Lastly, purchased some HT Jam, still sealed but when I got home, there was already mold growing on the surface. Will still likely go to this location, but will be closely examining the dates of everything I get now.

Priiiicey, but expected for this area (Arlington/Old Town, VA). Everything was clean and well-stocked, so that made my quick grocery run worth it.What I got:*ORGANIC KALE SALAD*GREEN LEAF SALAD*PRIME ONION & CHEDDAR PUB BURGER*SOUTHWESTERN STUFFED JALAPEÑO PEPPERS Everything was fresh and delicious.Definitely won't do any regular grocery shopping here, but this place is good for deli options and specialty items that you won't find in most grocery stores.__I eat. @f.huxI thrift. @DCthriftish

All produce was organized and fresh. Employees helped me find items I couldn't find. Cashiers and bagger were there to do there job and they did it well! Fast and smooth checkout they flew through the line it was unbelievable that it was just two employees. Better than most grocery stores in the area!

This is a conventional Harris Teeter outlet that's conveniently located within easy walking and bus distance of everyone who lives in Old Town Alexandria and along the waterfront.Although you'll find all the sections you'd expect of a supermarket here, like, say, produce, dairy, seafood, meats, and snacks, don't expect to find the actual items and quantities you want (i.e. something as simple a gallon of house-brand spring water). Also, if you're shopping for produce, check the quality closely and pick carefully.Prices won't be the best, but if you live or are staying nearby, then it's a convenient option to have that's within a short walk.

This is one of the sorriest grocery stores Ive ever been too. For the last month or so this place has no hand baskets and around 10 total big shopping carts. You have to use your own bags or cart if you expect to do any real shopping here. When I asked about the basket situation they didn't have a response other than people just take them. As for the food produce is pretty bad, I see a lot of moldy produce and prices on the shelves are not always the same as when you go to the cashier.I only go here if I have a small amount of items to get or don't want to drive but its pointless to come here unless you just need 1-2 items with the basket/cart situation.Note to management: get some more baskets!

This is a good local store right downtown. You can definitely find what you need but of course the price matches the location so that stuff here is expensive. Other than that it's pretty good.

I'm an out-of-towner casing out the DMV area with full intent to move should the opportunity present itself. After a botched Airbnb near Ft. Totten, a friend hooked my up with a weekend skyline view at the Sheraton across the street. Wearing for layers, I went down to Harris Teeter for Sun Chips, Mentos, water and a bottle of wine. The lines were hideously long, but they moved right along. The prices seemed pretty steep, but maybe it's because I was visiting from Houston and geography had something to do with it (economic mumbo jumbo).Either which way, it was a pleasant experience. Shoutout to Rosa G. for her AMAZING speed at getting us going.
