We asked these craftsmen to custom make 2 different end tables out of acacia wood to our hand drawn specs. Their work product is superior and produced exactly what we were looking for. The customer service, time frames and communication were excellent! They produce hand crafted works of art in furniture! I recommend them most highly.

We looked everywhere for a large hardwood table (no veneers!) for our new home that could withstand the daily grind of our three young kids (and large dog). This store is more than a furniture shop, it is a collection of handmade furniture. Absolutely phenomenal. We found the perfect table that is both sturdy and gorgeous. It has stood the test of time and guests always comment and compliment on our solid walnut table. Yes you could buy a table for a slightly lesser price at a big box store, but as soon as the veneer has a bit of damage (just a matter of time), the furniture looks terrible. We loved our experience so much, we have ordered a custom piece for our living room and intend to continue to purchase from R-Home and recommend to family and friends. Don’t hesitate to visit this shop, I echo previous reviews that this is truly a gem in the DMV.

R-Home Furniture Store has an incredible inventory of stunning wood slabs and custom wood furniture. The live edge shelves that I selected are a beautiful edition to my kitchen. The R-Home owners are extremely knowledgeable about designing and building with wood.

Super expensive I found the same size table not scratched for 1600 online same thickness and better color of acrylic they quoted me over 8000 same table. Nothing different and said since scratched I could just flip it over. Sad as I wanted to so bad spend my money at a mom and pop and found the online person I bought from is a mom and pop in a separate town. Just cuz your near DC does not mean it should be 5 times the price

WOW! We are THRILLED with our McKay chair! It was the final piece we needed to complete our mid-century look for our living room. We love the custom black stain, and the quality is clearly top-shelf. This chair will last the rest of our lives. Also, the price is very fair, especially for this excellent quality. I highly recommend R-Home furniture for ANY custom or pre-made furniture. Also, communication with George was first-rate and he couldn't have been better to work with. Delivery was FAST. Thank you!!

Such a wonderful place and such beautiful work. My wife and I chose these Three Wise Monkeys to take home and they are simply unforgettable and so alive too. As well, the two kind people working there were wonderful to chat with and were truly passionate about their craft.

I stumbled upon Mr. George and his family's store while window shopping at the various furniture showrooms across the street. I was easily able to talk through and customize my furniture to my preferences as opposed to the lack of options from the box stores. I ended up ordering an unique walnut burl epoxy dining table and a walnut bench to cherish. I will definitely return in the future!

The products at R Home are some of the best quality furniture pieces I've come across. Their unique and artful pieces compliment our decor beautifully. They have both ready made and custom made options that we have taken advantage of. It is clear that they take great pride in the products they make and sell. Each piece they sell is unique so finding something perfect for us has been easy to do.If you are looking for natural wood furniture I would highly recommend visiting their showroom and talking to their very friendly staff. Well worth the trip.

My wife and I had the pleasure to work with Mr. George and his family. We came in looking for an epoxy table and we were able to custom design our table with the epoxy color we wanted in what resulted in a beautiful coffee table. We love the results. It took several weeks to recieve our product (which is normal) and we got it just in time for our family to see and enjoy. It's an awesome 1/1 piece that we'll enjoy for years to come. Highly recommend.

We started out looking for a black walnut dining table at all the usual furniture stores. We found some, but they were not very interesting looking. We walked into the r-home furniture store and fell in love with the live edge and epoxy tables we saw. We wanted a table with a leaf to expand it when entertaining, and learned that nobody wanted to make a live edge table with an extension. George researched how to make an extension, found some unique hardware made in Europe which could support an extension and was willing to give it a try. We also wanted a book matched table after seeing a picture of a book matched table he made, but had sold. George went out of the way to locate and give us a choice of book matched slabs from his suppliers. We preferred a trestle base for the table and George said he could make one out of walnut. After two months we received the table. The installers were great. The table is beautiful and we love it. r-home furniture is a family run business. Everybody truly cares and aims to please the customer. It was an absolute pleasure dealing with such knowledgeable, talented, experienced, and personable people. We especially appreciate George, for doing an amazing job from the beginning to end of the process.

George and his team did an amazing job on our live edge table with a tourquise resin in the middle. They were so easy to work with and provided us with several options to choose from. They delivered and set up the table and it is even more beautiful that we could have imagined.

Wow. This is such a great find. I walked in and was immediately struck by the high quality workmanship and beautiful materials. Then the owner, George and his salesman Nick, made the visit even better. These are clearly first class people that care about their products and customers. If you want new great unique pieces at a relatively reasonable price, these are your people.
