We traded in our 2020 Ford Ranger on a 2023 Ford Mustang Mach-E at Malloy Ford of Alexandria. We gave a downpayment of $2,000 with our credit card (everything attached in the contract). The sale contract (last page of attached document) assured us that we would pay xxx amount of money monthly for 84 months, beginning on 1/24/24. The dealer, specifically the finance director who signed the contract, Aman Meerzaman, called me today saying that the bank did not approve the 84 month contract and that we would have to give another $1,000 in order for them to close the deal that for us was already closed. We said we could not pay that money, so they asked us to return the car and we did not agree. Now they want to repossess the car. Be careful with this dealership, they lie to their consumers.

I took my car to Malloy Ford to be checked for a malfunction notice about lane keeping feature not working that popped up every time I turned on my car despite the feature being turned off. I had extended warranty ending in a few days and wanted to take advantage of the extra coverage I had purchased. I let the service know that the car has original battery that might not be as strong anymore for all functions. At first I paid for diagnostics. No issues there. Got my car back, the malfunction notice was gone for a day and came back the next. Took my car back in to the service on Thursday. I mentioned that if this is battery related issue, go ahead and change it. I must mention that the valet service was great. Since I work within 5 mile radius from dealership, they took me to work and picked up. This was the only thing that was above and beyond customer service. My service advisor did not call me to let me know what have they tried to do to fix the issue. I had to make a call to remind them to be picked up before the workday ended. I was told they need my car for another day and they will provide a rental for me. OK, fine. No mention that this will cost $40 for me. The dealer doesn't have a loaner I was told later. If that would have been the case, I would have wanted my car back for the night and take it back the next morning. The car was drivable. Got the rental, drove off. I finally got a call the next day afternoon from my service advisor that the car is ready to be picked up on Friday after 4PM. The issue was battery related and they went ahead and changed the battery as I had told them. My service advisor had left by the time I got there. On the bill I was charged for the rental, some other charges on top of the battery cost. I did not agree with the charges since there had not been any discussion about them. I agreed to pay the cost of the battery and the $80 charge for changing the battery. The service advisor never told me the full amount they were to charge me. I was expecting better communication between us, but I can live with this. So I drove off with my car that had a brand new battery. 10 minutes later I was on a busy intersection in the middle of rush hour and my car died. Nothing worked. No lights, nothing. I was not able to turn on the emergency lights, put the car in neutral and push off the road, I was not able to open the back of the car to pull out my warning triangle to avoid a collision. It was getting dark outside and it is fair to say this was a dangerous situation I was in. I called the dealership to let them know what happened. A person who saw me helpless came to help, popped the hood, checked the battery cable which was totally loose. Pretty much "MacGyvered" the cable to the battery to get the car off the road. Whoever was the technician at the dealership did not do his/her job. There was no quality control which caused the car to stop in the middle of traffic and put me in a very unsafe situation. So I called the dealership on Monday. My service advisor told me that he was looking for my car in the dealership. He told me that I can take my car back for a complimentary CAR WASH to make this mistake good. I said I will not come back for anything. Why not offer tire rotation or oil change but a CAR WASH???? I was honestly speechless and I wanted to talk to the service manager who wasn't available on Monday. Finally on Wednesday afternoon I called again to talk to the service manager and make him aware about the service I had received. This call did not go well. First of all he told me that everyone had an impression that the issue was taken care of by me using AAA and there was nothing really to discuss. I don't know where this information came from. I only said I will not come back to this dealership. I started explaining to the best of my ability using technical vocabulary what happened on Friday after I picked up my car. The manager argued with me that the cable was attached to the battery when I drove off the service and it came loose while driving. This was just

The plug-in battery of my Ford C-Max Energi stopped charging. I took the car to Malloy Ford putting the charger on the front seat for them to test. They tested the charging port and found a "code" so they replaced the whole port for $962 and told me to come pick up my car. No change - the plug-in battery would still not charge. I bought a $175 charger online which solved the problem.I went back to Malloy Ford to discuss this issue, but the manager would not talk to me. I called Malloy Ford but the manager never returned my call. I was given a national Ford phone number to call to see what might be done, but they told me that I had to resolve it directly with the Malloy Ford dealership, that they couldn't help.I called VISA credit card to dispute the charge. They said I needed a "second opinion" to support my claims. I paid a reputable car repair shop to do this. They made a video showing the voltage generated by the old charger (0 volts) and the new charger (normal charge) and provided this to VISA. VISA did not accept this as a valid "second opinion" and charged me anyway. It was obvious from the beginning that the charger was the likely issue. Malloy Ford apparently did not test the charger up front, nor did Malloy Ford test it before returning the car back to me unrepaired. If I handed a 10 year old child a cell phone and said the phone's battery doesn't charge, my guess is that most children would ask me if the charger is working. I'll bet none of them would say "let's replace the port on the side of the cell phone".Malloy Ford got their $962, but they'll never get my business again.

BUYERS BEWARE!!! Bought 2 used Cars from this dealer. 2 days later, the check engine light came on in one of the cars. I took it back and they "reset" the code. The Check Engine light came on again. I called them and they encourage me to take it to any KIA dealership and they should fix it with no charge to me since I have an extended warranty which I got at the time of sale. The KIA dealership said the repair will cost me close to $700. The extended warranty won't cover it either. Called MALLOY FORD to speak with my Sales rep but he won't call me back. I requested to speak with the Sales Managers and they both said, "If you don't have it in writing that they will not honor it". I see why my Sales Rep wont call me back. THIS IS THE DEFINITION OF A SCAM!!!! BUYERS BEWARE!!! HAVE EVERYTHING IN WRITING AND DOCUMENTED. DO NOT TAKE THEIR WORDS FOR IT!!!

We had a very disappointing experience trying to purchase a new car at this dealership. Our salesman promised us that he could obtain the car we wanted through a dealer exchange that was scheduled to occur on a Saturday; however, our vehicle was never delivered that day. We followed up on Sunday, only to be told the exchange would now take place on Monday afternoon. When the car did not arrive that day, we contacted a Malloy sales manager who told us he'd follow up to find out why the exchange did not go through. However, he never called us back, and a subsequent request we made to the salesman for more information was ignored. Since this dealership could not communicate honestly with us, and wasted our time, they won't get our business in the future.

Clueless about the buyout process of a leased car. They tried to charge way more than the buyout price and when we asked why, they didn't know what to say. We went to a different Ford dealer and they were more professional and offered a better deal. STAY AWAY from this place!

This dealership has a dishonest service department. I could go into all the details, but to sum it up: (1) they lied about what was included/excluded with my extended warranty; (2) they lied in telling me I needed to have parts replaced when I did not. STAY AWAY FROM THEM!

We are a local repair shop in Florida, and we had replaced bearings and a seal on a customers F350. The vehicle was near this location making a delivery and the wheel we had just worked on started to make noise. They were very quick to get the vehicle in and supply us with an estimate for $6500.00 dollars stating the rear diff, and axle were destroyed and could not be repaired. The service writer James Mcdowell stated he did not personally look at the vehicle and would supply photos, which he did. Upon inspection of the photos we could not see any damage of that magnitude. We decided to tow the vehicle back 855 miles, with a trailer, at the cost of $4100.00 dollars. Upon arrival we found the spindle nut to have split in half (which is not common) causing the bearing to fail and leak. The vehicle only needed a nut, bearings, seals, and fluid. THIS PLACE TRIED TO TAKE ADVANTAGE of an out of state vehicle in an emergency and rake them over the coals. THIS PLACE IS SHADY AND NOT TRUSTWORTHY. KARMA WILL GET THEM. We have several calls into James, and management with no one returning our calls.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! THEY CAN REPLACE FROM GOOD TO CHEAP ITEMS OF YOUR CAR a year and a half I took my car for service there to fix the torque converter ,sun roof fix, shutter motor replace and tires rotation. they said that it was going to take 2 weeks at first, it took more than a moth there. The thing is that i was desperate for my truck to be back at work, never checked it. I realized that my spare tire was changed for something that doesn't even is the same being my actual rim a 20'' with original hankook tires . They put a steel rim 18'' with a firestone tire. when my rim is a Luxury aluminum. I know by fact that my ring is original and same style and tires that I've been using all the time for my Ford f-150 Platinum. I discovered this since someone hit my car on the side and I inspected it. This is the only place I had taken my car for service after all this time since I discovered beside the tire shop which is open area that you can see where tires are changed. I email the same guy who emailed me back after that service saying thank you for your business bla bla. He never responded back. So I decided to go there today and tell them about it. Very nasty manger and co worker at the dealer services desk said that it was too long, that should be reported when I got my car... I said that I thrusted and I was to busy at the moment to check. even the manager said that if I wanted I new tire and rim he can offer me with regular price. I explained to them that the only place that my car has been is there and they kept it more than a month. they said they cant do nothing after all that time, that It could be changed in another location. I am 100% that my spare tire was there before taking this truck in. I thrusted a lot since I bought this car there when i was Jerr's ford, but when it was being service was already Malloy's ford. Very upset I went to another person ( main manager I supposed , the one at the front desk). I explained the same and he ask me for the VIN of my car , we went outside and he took a picture so he can inquire. He got back and said that they can do nothing since at the time of the service it was Jerry's ford and I replied '' it was already Malloy's" then he changed gears saying the same thing of the service manager that it was too long that they have honest employees and no one will take that rim and tire for what? that some outside could change it.. I ask myself if someone will change that to steal that tire will have a lot of time and the long stick you to lowered it , and put a cheap one back? Where do you think is easier to replace a spare tire , outside or a place like a dealer that no one can see? Who will be more interested in getting that tire if you can sale it in a place that has numerous amounts of the same type of car?? Is this how they consider customer after giving them business? The service they did cost almost $10,000 and the problem persist with the torque converter again after 40,000 miles on top of that with a cheap spare tire when my original can cost around $1,200.00 Very disappointed with their nastiness, very unprofessional customer service. I was thinking to buy from this dealer trucks for my business but now seeing how corrupt they are will be better to shoot my foot. A really good advice is to check your car before going in and after. I failed not checking after since I was in a rust to put my truck back to work after they had it for long. STAY AWAY PEOPLE!

DO NOT VISIT this location! My dad took his van in on 11/03/22 because the engine light was on and he also needed an oil change. As he waited in the waiting room, the technician Michael Payne came out and told him that he would need to replace his front brakes lining and so he approved for that service to be done as well. After he was done and my dad received the bill, it showed that not only did he replace the brakes, he replaced the rotors without consulting him first which was an additional $300 dollars. My dad spoke to him to ask him why he would replace a part he did not approve or sign off for and he shouted at him that if he did not like the service there then he can leave and take his business somewhere else! He was shocked at the lack of customer service from Michael Payne all because he made the decision of replacing a part my dad did not approve and he was addressing the matter. To his surprise, he spoke with the manager, who was no better than the employees at providing customer service. The manager stated to him that he was informed of the service being performed and that he must have misunderstood the technician and therefore there is nothing they can do but take off $100. The issue was never about the money, he pays for quality and takes care of his things so he will pay to maintain. His issue is with the employee's lack of transparency about the services he was providing, charging him for a job he did not approve of and then telling him to take my business elsewhere if I did not like their service. After the appalling service he received, he will be taking my business elsewhere and telling everyone he knows to stay away from this location unless they want horrible service and to be overcharged for unapproved services.

I was called by the dealership because I was interested in the Maverick pickup with a starting price of $23,600. I spoke with Mike the internet sales guy and told him if you get a basic truck in i would be interested. Mike called about a week later and said they had one that just came in. I schedule to come in the following morning to look at it and test drive. Mike was off but Justin called to confirm I would be in to look at the truck. When I got to the dealership I found out that Mike was not there, ok I had another salesmen assigned, he was a nice personable guy. He took me back to look at the truck, when I looked at the sticker the price had jumped $4000 from what I was told over the phone. I took the truck for a test drive and it was ok for my needs. Then some older Dude Russ said that he was going to appraise my trade in and see what he could do, he came back with an offer $5,000 below bb, now my vehicle had a ding here and there, but nothing major. I have since then taken it to Carnac and another dealer and for a straight purchase of my vehicle I was offered $4,000-$5,000 more then Russ offered at Malloy, the kicker of this is that the vehicle that I looked at went from a $27,600 price to over $43,000. This was the worst rip off I have ever experienced. Run away from this dealership! Don't trust them. Stay away. I could only imagine what the finance guy would have tried to get on top of the extra money $27,600 to $43,000, that is $15,400 more then the sticker price. I must have a neon light flashing on my forehead STUPID!

Tried to purchase a $80k vehicle here and the salesman ghosted me. Would not return emails, calls , or texts. Went somewhere else and had a much better experience.
