This charming children's shop carries high quality children's clothing for special occasions and everyday, with the best selection of children's shoes in the city of Alexandria (Hunter, boys leather loafers, Native, See Kai Run, saddle shoes, Keen). It is a classic store but also has new trends. They are one of my go-tos for holiday pjs, classic items like wool or rain coats and well-made, long lasting shoes like rainboots and saddle shoes. Now that my boys are older, it is a good place for sacrament outfits for first communion or cotillion clothes. I love their selection of unique gifts and it is one of my boys' favorites to pick up a Jelly Cat stuffed animal, Melissa and Dog classic wooden toys or cute hairbows and jewelry. At the holidays, they are my go-to for Thymes fir candles and monogrammed items. They monogrammed my boys' heirloom baptism gown with their names and baptism dates through the in-house Del Ray monograms and expanded to Del Ray Balloons. They used to have a terrific consignment corner and their sales are the best, where I stock up on the next size up. The owners Paula and Linda know long-time customers by name and have great customer service and know host to hustle, surviving the pandemic with innovation and grit.

Wonderful shop! I recently visited The Purple Goose and had a fantastic experience! The store itself is wonderfully stocked with a great variety of high-quality children's clothing. What truly made my visit exceptional was the outstanding customer service provided by Linda. She was incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. Linda went above and beyond to assist me in finding the perfect items!

It’s cute but disgustingly over priced. The shop keeper completely ignored us even tho we were standing in front of the register ready to pay. An employee tried to get her attention for about 6 minutes while she continued to talk on the phone. If my son didn’t have his heart set on the item I would have preferred to have not spent my money here. Terrible management.

Nice selection of kids toys, shoes and clothes. Though, it is uncomfortably crowded with merchandise which makes it hard and overwhelming to shop in there.

If you're looking for a store with owners who genuinely care about their customers, then look no further than this one. I recently found myself in an emergency situation and was in dire need of some assistance. Luckily, I stumbled upon this store and was met with the kindness and compassion of Ms. Paula and Linda, the owners.These two women are some of the most kind-hearted people I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. They knew exactly what I needed and went above and beyond to make sure that I was taken care of. I cannot express my gratitude enough for the attention to detail, professionalism, and love that they showed me and my family during a difficult time.If you're looking for a store with owners who truly care about their customers, then you won't be disappointed with this one. Thank you, Ms. Paula and Linda, for being such wonderful human beings and for running a store that truly makes a difference in people's lives.

Omg. The owner is to die for. I’ve never walked into a child’s boutique that’s beyond lovely and then become enamored with the owner who is as sassy and funny as she is smart and knows her business. I’ve never just lived going into a place excited to see the owner just to at worst leave only with a bellyache from laughing. Great place great taste

This store has too much stuff in it. It's hard to walk around and unpleasant to shop in. I kind of don't understand how they get away with it. Feels like a fire hazard.
