These groomers are unskilled and lack common sense. If you have a poodle mix RUN, RUN, RUN all they will do, is buzz cut your dog. Just foolishness.
I have been three times and will not go back. I will pay more money to a local run store over this chain groomer. HORRIBLE.

Our home away from home- many of the employees are clear animal lovers and very educated in the area of the store they work in. We have gotten fish, frogs, a bearded dragon, and our ferrets from this specific store.
When one of our Ferrets showed signs of being sick after coming home with us for a week Petco took him to the vet, paid for that and his medicine and took care of him for several weeks. They let us come visit him daily and it was clear he was being VERY well cared for.
Our puppy is currently receiving training from Nina at this store and they are great with our little guy!!!!! 10/10 recommend

I really like the people who work here. They are very personable and friendly. The store itself has a very welcoming and pet friendly vibe unlike a much larger pet store a few miles down the road. The store is a bit hidden from street view but I highly recommend you visit them and give them your business. I get all my fish pond supplies here and it is always fun to check out the little animals.

Worst grooming experience I’ve ever had - please do NOT take your small dogs to this Petco. My dog had a 2:30 appointment and was told 3-4 hrs, upon arriving at near the 4 hr mark was told it would be another 90 minutes. After complaining, my dog was brought up on the line but instead of try to work through any knots immediately she was shaved. She cried without any comfort from the groomer and looks like an entirely different dog. I will never take her there again and would advise you not to take your dog. My groomer was Tierra but the full staff was unprofessional. I appreciate the cashier who saw I was upset and brought Rose the manager who listened to my concerns. I hope no one experiences what my dog and I went through.

Only 1 employee jn the store. Told me that she could not assist me because she is the only one in the store. Then walk off to a different area.

Honestly it looked like they hadn’t done anything to my Shepard, and she still smelled like a wet dog after, and her nails were still pretty long so that was another down side. I guess maybe it’s the breed but honestly I wasn’t happy. I paid and just came home because I had my toddler and then I checked her over but the smell of wet dog quickly filled the car so that sucked.

Went in to pick up an online order, and Troy provided us our order quickly and with a great attitude. We asked about some "Pet Armor" allergy meds, and he directed us to the aisle, but said he hadn't seen it in stock. We looked and found the last one, and Troy quickly rang it up just as pleasantly as the first order. Need more people like Troy in customer service that's for sure.

Would not give us a refund. We were given a gift card by a friend so we could get some things for our new kitty and we purchased a carrier that ended up not working. Even with our membership and a receipt they couldn't give us the credit back on a gift card and we lost the gift from our friend. The manager was very rude and just dismissive to us. We will not be going back to this location.

I ordered an item on line when I went to go and pick up it said the items I ordered had been cancelled. But the items were in the store. And it was supposed to be a repeat order and the store manager wouldn’t honor the discount or the repeat order. She made excuses for her personal

Very dirty. Aisles filled with boxes u couldn't even get around. Asked for help with the fish and noticed alot of fish were dead. Smelled really bad.

Grooming:
I unfortunately after trying a new groomer at this petco will be taking my business elsewhere. I was consistent with another groomer but she moved. First it took 4.5 hours for my 9lb dog to be done when it usually takes 2 hours at most. The groomer had no customer service. Barely wanted to speak to me…after I had to ask her to come out so I could describe the cut I wanted. Again it was my first time meeting her so I thought a quick consultation wasn’t asking too much. My main request was to groom my dog’s ear a certain way. I showed her a photo. Well on the left is what I asked for & on the right is what she gave me. Tierra just left me very unsatisfied. My dog looks nothing like herself.
