Petal's Edge was extremely responsive (emailing back within minutes most times!), had easy online payment, and was the utmost professional. We ordered 5 boutonnières from them with only a few days notice and they were extremely accommodating (even when we increased the order). The Boutonnières were gorgeous, exactly what we wanted, and I cannot recommend Petal's Edge enough!

I bought my mother flowers from here recently. The service is always kind and considerate, the designs absolutely dreamy. I decided to avail myself of their curbside options recently, and packaged the flowers beautifully and brought them to our car for us!

We were so lucky that we found Petal's Edge. Gorgeous flowers and we hired Gerry for her super talented day of wedding coordination. Planning a wedding is hard but Petal's Edge made it easy. Beyond super beautiful florals that really elevated our day and made it special, it was such a huge help that any time I was stuck in the planning process, Gerry answered any question I had. Her professionalism and capabilities are simply unmatched. She knows everything about venues, vendors and more inside and out. Meetings to see your floral designs are super smooth. Petal's Edge will write your contract super fast and easily helped us amend it. The day of the wedding couldn't have been more perfect. It was so easy and fun. Petal's Edge set everything up perfectly and make sure it ran smoothly. The florals were so beautiful!! I loved all of the details, from a stunning bridal bouquet, posies for moms and grandmas, framing the posters with eucalyptus, to gorgeous multicolored petals down the aisle. Our guests were so comfortable and well taken care of the whole night. Petal's Edge really took the rustic/classic vision I had in mind and made it a gorgeous reality.

The class at Petal's Edge was for beginners, but I left feeling like a pro and ready to book my own events (maybe even style a wedding with my own flower arrangements) by the end. The instructors were warm and receptive to questions, allowing the class participants to move at their own pace and take their pick from a wide bunch of different flowers. It is the perfect type of class to do by yourself, or with girlfriends, or even carve out the time to do it as a date night activity. I was so lucky to encounter this small business in the heart of Old Town by chance! A friend gifted me the class to brighten my spring season after a lot of winter illnesses plagued our house. I'll be back soon and plan on using them as a vendor for future events my family hosts in our home or elsewhere.

I had them deliver flowers to my wife for her birthday. They charged me $115 for a 4" x 4" little vase bouquet. I know things are expensive in this area, but many of the flowers were already starting to turn brown around the edges. The lady who answered the phone was very nice and the delivery was fast, but wow. For that price, I could have gotten three times as many flowers from the market and delivered them myself.

I was hosted at Petal's Edge for one of their floral arranging classes and it was so fun! In a small intimate class you receive all the tools you need for the class as well as local blooms. Gerry was so insightful and engaging and I learned so much about floral arranging in the hour class. You are able to take your arrangement home and a wealth of knowledge on how to arrangement flowers at home. I definitely will be attending another class. It was a fun girls night for myself and my friends!

I wasn’t the purchaser, but my Valentine’s Day flowers were ABSOLUTELY STUNNING! Days later and they are still going strong. This is the third year my husband has sent flowers from here and they never disappoint.

If I could give this place zero stars, I would. Presentation and quality were a total disappointment. My Tuesday delivery is already dead. No reaction from the owner when I called. She asked for photos via text and never responded. Will not be ordering from here again.Edit in reply to the owner's response: There's different tastes, and then there's this. This is not worth $170. I informed you over the phone that I texted the photos. You did not correct me or offer me an email address, because you had no intention of taking my feedback seriously.

Gerry and her team are absolutely amazing! Professional, responsive, knowledgeable and stunning work! My wife and I planned our wedding ourselves and we had so many one-off questions and Gerry answered all of them thoroughly, thoughtfully, and promptly. Amongst all the planning chaos, she put us at ease! We truly can't thank her enough for her expertise and for making our wedding day so beautiful!

I am an event planner and have worked with many, many florists over the past 30 years. None of them (or vendors of any kind) have been as objectionable as Gerry. Her attitude throughout the entire planning process and the wedding day set up was combative and rude. She's in a people pleasing business but has no people pleasing skills. When you're spending the amount of money my client did the bill should come with a positive, polite attitude. The flowers were pretty but with all of the great florists in DC there's no need to pay for rude behavior.

Gerry and her team at Petal's Edge put on such an elegant display of flowers for my weddings that I was completely blown away. She is so thoughtful, and throughout the process was flexible and transparent about flower availability, costs, and especially ways of handling supply chain issues. We were so happy with the amazing designs, from the chuppah to the bouquets, table centerpieces and all the details that made our vision come to life. Highly recommend!

My mother's day flowers were S T U N N I N G! I cannot get over the quality of the blooms. These are not your typical grocery store flowers. My son brought the flowers over personally. He did slosh a bit, so I made sure to top off the container. My flowers lasted so long with proper care.

If I could give this florist a zero, I would. I received an arrangement for Mother's Day 2022. It was attractive, but I noticed that the roses had brownish edges when I received it. The arrangement started wilting the day after I received it on Monday and by the entire arrangement was completely wilted by Wednesday. The flowers were never fresh to begin with. Perhaps they were leftover from an event? It sure looks that way. This shop's "arrangements" start at $85.00!! These look like they were purchased from a street vendor. Safeway has longer lasting flowers that are much more reasonably priced. I've called and left messages with this florist several times, but they are not calling me back after five days. Now I see that this business is temporarily closed and will reopen in August. This sounds like a "fly by night" business. So my assumption is that they don't care about their business or customers. If you want flower arrangements for your special occasion to look like the attached photos after three days, by all means, order from these people.
