I have dealt with many financial institutions. Spectra is unquestionably the worst. Their website is actively misleading - it will claim that no payment on a loan is due, even though one is actually due and they'll charge you late fees if you don't make one. Not only that, I had issues where the website said I had no payment due, the website would not allow me to make a payment (because nothing was due!), and Spectra nonetheless claimed that there was an amount due because of accrued interest and then attempted to charge a late fee (which they eventually waived after I complained).Spectra also has a burdensome process for closing an account that requires hand-signing documents and sending a photo of a driver's license. They refused to close my savings account through their secure message system, although they did inform me that they'd begin to charge fees if I didn't close the account.Strongly recommend to stay away. Horrendous website, anti-customer policies, and generally bad service.

I wire them money to pay-off one of my car loans. It has been two weeks of calling them to receive the lien release letter and still have not received anything. I call many times and all they say is it’s processed. What does that even means since I still haven’t received the lien release letter. One of their expertise is to harass customer to pay and they send trash mail to my house but can’t send me the document I need. Worse company on customer satisfaction.

They take 15 mins to answer the phone. On top of the service fees. They have service fees for everything it’s a bit ridiculous

A hassle to pay and dumb fees even if paying online! On top of that I keep getting late fees even tho I always ask how much it is and to pay the full amount. There phone services sucks they say they will call you back and never do!

There is a new lady with glasses who doesn't accept my 20-dollar bill just because it has tape on it as far as I know banks alway accept those bills.

I went there on April 25, 2023 for the issue that I’ve on my account. So unprofessional with bad attitudes (which all their clients are agreeing on). I haven’t got the answer to my questions, the associates has a luck of knowledge about process and wanted to conclude the conversation instead of listening and helping. I really do not recommend!!

Not this branch specifically but Spectra completely sucks when you use them for a car loan. To pay automatically is a hassle to pay them monthly is a hassle and on top of that they said I didn’t pay for one month and I did! I called them and they had the audacity to say they will call me back and never did! It was a Friday so customer service never wants to talk completely a hassle

Went into this bank on September 16th 2022 to pay off a signature loan CASH. Low and behold this morning I wake up and they are still charging me “reoccurring payments” for the signature loan? Where is that money going? If the loan is paid off why are they still charging me as if I still owe? I went on their app and cancelled reoccurring payments the same day I paid off the loan YET they still pulled money as if I didn’t pay the whole thing off! I hate this credit union so much. Please choose a different bank.

They do not have a good business practice. I had a pre-approval through them on an auto loan. After finding the vehicle I wanted to purchase through them they raised the pre-approval interest rate by 2 points. Terrence Gerst was my Service consultant and at no point did he mention this change, until the last second and flipped the switch. Will not be using this credit union anymore

They have excellent customer service as far as tellers, and the Credit Card Services Manager. I’m here now trying to make a deposit and the ATM is offline, this is like the 5th time in 6 months it’s been offline. This is 2022 with technology now, why in the world is this happening. Inexcusable and unacceptable. No number to call after hours.

Have had multiple NEW debit cards (only 3) since they implemented the chip. Each card gets declined constantly & I have to stand their holding up lines just to swipe 100 times before it goes through. Several times I’ve made deposits and they’ve shown up negative in my account. And my parents constantly have data breaches where their funds are stolen or unaccounted for. All of these issue while having sufficient funds.
