If you like working with someone that is professional, knowledgeable, charming and knows how to win, look no further, Heather is your person. Heather has been my source for real estate expertise since 2009. Since then, I have conducted five real estate transactions with her to include buying and selling of properties, and keeping rental properties occupied. Heather knows the market, she knows people, people know her, and she knows how to win. Want to sell your home? Listen to her. She will set expectations and then exceed them. Even when market conditions were less favorable to sellers, I came away a winner. When buying properties, Heather listens carefully and then finds the best property available. Heather, Heather, Heather you made our home buying dreams come true. If you're looking for the best realtor in D.C. and Northern Virginia look no further, Heather Carlson is by far the best in the business. Our struggle to find a home was real like many in this market. We had been looking to buy for over a year in the New Jersey area with other realtors but we never felt like the other realtors cared about us or had our backs. We felt like we were just a commission to them. That all changed when we met Heather. When we finally decided to call Northern Virginia home we knew instantly who we wanted for a realtor. She came highly recommended by several people we know and trust. Heather didn't treat us like clients; she treated us like friends! She asked lots of insightful questions and adjusted her recommendations in a way we knew she was listening and taking our desires into consideration. She was also willing to tell us about the realities of the market. I believed Heather was looking out for our best interests throughout the process of buying our new home and selling our old one. She made great recommendations on how to do renovations and insights into folks she trusted. We are very happy with our new home and the sale of our previous one. People dread the process of buying and selling homes. I don't know what they're talking about, because we buy and sell with Heather. If you're using another realtor for your home search or sale in Northern Virginia, you're making a mistake. She is attentive to detail in learning what you want, punctual in communications, honest in her opinions and feedback, and a tenacious fighter for her clients. I can't say enough good things about Heather!! We looked at both buying and renting and she NEVER pressured us into buying. We ended up renting since it was our best option at our given situation, but she never gave us less attention or care because of it. She has been available literally day and night any day of the week and if that wasn't enough she met us many times an hour or so after finding a new listing ! I can honestly, say she went far and beyond what was expected! She made us feel comfortable and she took care of us as if we were longtime friends of her! She made sure we had all paperwork so we could be first to put in an offer. She was our voice at all times and fought for us and made sure we got the best deal! I highly recommend using Heather for buy or finding your next retal she is awesome and the best we have had in the DMV!

Heather has done an amazing job on the sale of our homes, the purchase of new ones, and even with rentals. She goes above and beyond and takes care of every detail (and I would know because I'm a perfectionist). She juggled our most recent purchase and sale at the same time, and it was executed perfectly. Went to closing and had no issues. Normally buying and selling at the same time is incredibly stressful, but she made it much easier. She has such an in depth knowledge of all the local areas. I cannot say enough positive things about her. Please contact her you will not be sorry!
