This is the place to go! Wonderful, and knowledgeable staff, who don't just try to sell you the most expensive fixture. They listen, take a lot of time and are incredibly kind, and personable. After having a chandelier ordered and installed I would go nowhere else or have anyone else install a light. I can't say enough about my experience. Thank you Kevin, Gio, and staff!!!
Plus, now that I have one nice light I want one in every room and hallway!!

I’m so thankful I stumbled on this gem at the Belleview Shopping Center in Alexandria, Va. The owners are so kind and helpful. Please visit if you’re interested in transforming your indoors and outdoors lighting. The setup and design takes you through the experience of entering a home, going from room to room, and ending with a visual of the outdoor lighting. The best customer experience and service ever! Visit this place to get elegant design and energy-efficient lighting in your home, inside and out.

This store is excellent, I love it! I stopped by with my sister who was looking for new fixtures for her house and this was a great surprise for both of us. The couple who owns it are wonderful and so helpful. The way they have the store set-up is also a great way to see different fixtures in different settings. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for lights.

The showroom, inventory, and service at LIGHT are all second to none. We’ll be repeat customers as we replace several prominent lights in our new home.Like a lot of folks, we were dissatisfied wandering the light aisles at big box stores, looking for a simple but elegant fixture for a child’s room. We popped into LIGHT on a whim and were immediately taken by the store design and range of styles. Sam answered all our questions about various brands and fixtures, while also giving us space to explore.The electrician team, Graham and Dan, brought the light to us and were timely, kind, and thorough throughout the installation. They even talked us through the process of potentially installing sconces in a separate room. Above and beyond in every way.The entire experience from in-store to delivery and installation was fantastic. All the better that it’s a local, family-owned business. 10/10, would recommend.

Stopped by to see if LIGHT could help out with a part from a ceiling lamp not purchased from the store. Kevin took the time to try and find the part, and when he couldn’t, he essentially crafted the part for me. It worked like a charm. Didn’t purchase a thing, he didn’t charge me a dime, but next time I need lighting, I’m going to LIGHT.

Working with Light by Alexandria Electric was hands down the best experience I've had in a long time working with a service company. I had the opportunity to not only work with the owner at my initial calling -- who alone made it easy to make the decision to go with them, but also with 4 other employees who were a highly professional, friendly and courteous bunch. The down time was quick, but the work was exemplary. I will definitely make this team my "go-to" electrician whenever I need work done going forward!
