One of the best butcher shops I've ever been to. Super awesome and helpful staff and amazing products. The bacon is amazing, the weekly sausages are divine, and the beef is just splendid. Would give them more than 5 stars if google let me!

1st of all, the meat is the absolute best in the city. Their weekly rotating sausages are better than any I have ever had. I tried their Peach + Feta sausage and their Green Chile Chicken sausage, and they were amazingly well seasoned, textured, and so unique!
Secondly, the customer service is top notch. A family business with the expertise and friendly conversation, it is hard to beat their knowledge and care of their neighbors!
If you find yourself in Del Ray in need of a steak, sausage, chicken, or even kangaroo(!), you have found the right place!

Fantastic little place with amazing assortment of game and meats. Bought their meatballs, well prepared with onions and +, But (and put in capital to emphasize), they were extremely salty. Wish salt was lowered for those of us who don’t care for too much salt, but more importantly, so that people with hypertension and other health conditions that need low salt diet could enjoy them. Others can always add more salt as needed. I will go back for boar and other meats. It’s really a special place.

I'm new to this coast and was looking for a butcher in the neighborhood. I purchased some salmon, salmon cakes and chicken thighs. The salmon and salmon cakes were absolutely delicious. I'm brining the chicken thighs for a fry later today and can't wait. They also gave me some free bacon and it was DELICIOUS. The raspberry lemonade also is a must try.
Service was also 5 star. Very friendly and helpful staff. They made me feel right at home and answered all my "stupid" questions.

Quick takeaways from my experience today;
1. I asked a question about the spiciness level of the Oaxacan sausage, got a "It's Oxacan, what do you expect?" Might be a weird sense of humor but came off as condescending. No stars off, but c'mon!
2. I asked for flank steak, but the piece they had was not cut how I wanted, and they wouldn't cut it for me. I'll see how cutting it on my own goes. What butcher doesn't cut it for you? C'mon! Definitely 1 star off.
3. $19.99 a lb for said flank steak is pretty steep. Haven't cooked it yet, so we'll see if it's worth it. In the meantime, 1 star off! Will revise later.
4. I asked for picahna, and they showed me one sad piece. Granted, they did have more in the back, but c'mon! Bought it, but the jury is still out on taste and quality.
If the meat is out of this world when I cook it, then I might come back. Otherwise, there is nothing that draws me back.

Ive ordered my holiday tenderloin from here the past few years and it never disappoints. Amazing quality and easy pick up. And if you don't buy their bacon, you are seriously missing out.

A lot of selection of meat so if you're looking for a specific cut or exotic meat then this is the place for it. But dang the price is not cheap for sure... so compare to what you can get at Costco or local supermarket I'm not sure if it's worth paying this much. Maybe if you're just into something different once in awhile. They also carry local farm eggs and milk. Eggs are 6.50 a dozen and milk is $5 per half gallon + $3 in bottle deposit. ( just to give you some idea ) lots of locals that's live in the area walks to this store to grab their poultry :)

wey friendly atmosphere. Went in there not knowing what i wanted and came out with some great cuts recommended to me by the butchers there and the SPG seasoning went great with the Picanha and Sirloin they gave me. Wanted wagyu patties but they were sold out so i will be back to try them.
