I rarely provide reviews but the work LapFix performed was incredible. I brought a MacBook to them that would not power up and they delivered outstanding service! I first went to "see a genius" who did nothing but refer me to another shop in Fairfax which suggested I should first send the machine out for data recovery for significant time and cost. I started searching in the area and found Eric's youtube videos. I brought them the machine and not only did they recover 100% of my data, they repaired the machine locally and for less $$$ than had been quoted just for data recovery. I don't suggest going to them because they may be less expensive. I suggest using them because of their expertise and responsiveness! They are 1st class!!!

Had an issue with my iPad and took it to LapFix .
Eric took a look at it and said that he could have fixed in a couple of days . I picked up a couple of days later and it was working like new .
Thanks for the quick and great service .
I will definitely recommend LapFix to anyone that needs their computer/tablets fixed .

They were able to retrieve the data from my computer after it crashed - ended up not losing any of my files. I appreciated the occasional updates they would send while working on it too.

Dropped off my Asus Laptop to resolve a blue screen due to storage overflow. Transfered my important files to an external hardrive and reinstalled Windows OS the next day! Will be back whenever I need a storage upgrade.

My pc could not show content on monitor. I have worked with them one year ago to replace a new motherboard which worked well only half year and same issue appears. Then I go back to them to check what happens, they said it’s GPU issue and I need to pay $165 labor fee if I want to work with them. The labor price is much higher than peers after my investigation. Then I took back my pc and pc was diagnosed by several other pc fix stores. They all mentioned is not a GPU issue but a motherboard issue. I have to spend extra money to replace a new motherboard.
I would say this store is not unreliable and trustless:
1. New motherboard with short life
2. The are not willing to take their responsibility

Thank you for reacting on my review. Sadly to this date I still have not received any communication from this company for the work. I am replacing the systemboard myself even though I'd rather have them change some components.
Send a couple of message on their website and called them from some solder work on a system-board of a laptop. So far I have received no answer. I hope they answer this.
This review was to solicit a reaction as I did check my spam folder , I tried calling a couple of times and nothing,mind you this was during the hours it's open. And I hope I didn't fill in my email address wrong 5 times.
If you want to do the repair please let me know what you expect it to cost and if it is a one day turnaround with an appointment or I need to come back on a later day as it is a longer drive from Baltimore. We have plenty of museums to visit at the mall or the zoo to entertain ourselves in the area. I just need to know for planning. P.S. I have no problem making it a 5 star review even if you say you don't want to do the repair ?. I can replace the system board myself without any problem.

Laptop wouldn't turn on, Eric at lapfix figured out the issue and fixed my computer expeditiously, if you need your laptop fix they will get the job done.
