These guys are home to me. Carter is still there by the looks of a picture below :) He told me about the string cheese incident long ago and I thank him for that. Great shop with a good vibe you won’t get elsewhere. All of these guys will treat ya fair and proper. You truly don’t get that honestly anymore. Worth stopping by this gem. Coffee cheers to you all. Glad to see yall are still rockin and rollin. I hope Phil is okay. Pretty sure that’s his name it has been more than 10 years. The bus. Give my midget sized bear hugs to all. <3

Sweet tobacco and sweet staff. Not only do they have a Military discount but the owner answered all my questions. New to smoking a pipe and gave wonderful advice. Will be traveling the hour to come back and give this gentleman my business.

Popped into John Crouch. Best decision ever. I didn’t get the gentleman’s name at the shop but he greeted everyone. I was stopped at the door by the pipe tobacco selection. I went in to purchase cigars to smoke on the river. Got a few cigars and a hellfire tobacco recommendation. I will definitely be back. Good selection, good products, fair prices.

There is not a nicer or more knowledgeable tobacconist in all of Old Town, Alexandria. Much appreciated as well, the shop has a deep respect for the older legacy sticks that have never strayed from rolling true cigars.

The best place in the DMV for real tobacco. Try the Buddy's Blend, it's in memory of my Uncle, one really amazing man!

If I could give it 6/5 stars I would. Super nice environment greeted with delicious smelling cigars as soon as you walk in. & super nice employee/owner.The only place out of 15-20 I’ve called/gone to that has had snuff.

Let me use bathroom (which was nice and clean) before even making a purchase. Has a nice selection of cigars and even pipes for tobacco. The stupid, required “Tobaccco Tax” is included in the price of the cigar, which is a plus!

Staff is not friendly, they make you feel stupid if you don't know a lot about cigars. Uncomfortable environment if you are wanting smoke and not a regular.

Mediocre cigar collection but not bad. The bigger issue is it's very much an old-guard kind of place so you feel very uncomfortable if you're not a regular.
