Jackson Hewitt needs to keep in mind that how they treat their employees speaks loudly about how they value customers and that providing price details up front is the better way to make people true clients instead of one and done customers.We recently filed our 2022 taxes at a satellite "office" located in the Walmart in Kingstowne, Alexandria, VA.First, we want to commend the tax professional who patiently and meticulously prepared our return. She did a outstanding job and we left feeling confident that our return was done correctly, and we were receiving the best results possible.While her service was excellent, we were appalled at the location and the conditions under which she had to work. Rather than being in an out of the way corner or a low traffic area, her tiny kiosk was plopped in the middle of a noisy aisle where customers freely roamed. This setup offered no real privacy for clients to discuss finances and provide sensitive information like social security numbers and bank routing and account numbers.The kiosk could have easily been placed in an area with less noise and traffic reducing the immense stress on the employee who must battle hours of constant peripheral activity, the drone of chatting store customers and the interruption of loudly wailing children as she tries to sort through clients' data, concentrate on procedure and make sure everything is correct.We hope that someone from a regional or corporate office would regularly check on their employees serving at in-store locations to ensure they are situated in an area that provides a professional experience for both the employee and customers and is on par with the professional customer service they expect their employees to provide.Also, Jackson Hewitt should provide a readily available fee schedule so that there are no surprises at the end. We had no idea that we would end up paying nearly $500 for their service, and that was with a $200 discount. We probably wouldnt have gone to them had we known it would be that much. That's almost 3x more than what we paid to file last year through the online service TaxAct, which we will be going back to.

Their scheduling system is trash. The office is janky. They are not equipped to handle anything but the simplest of tax return. The lady was curt and unprofessional and was quickly overwhelmed, didn't understand how to do most things and was googling them in front of me. Wasted an hour of my time and still didn't complete my taxes. I will never be back.

I did my taxes at the Walmart located in Kingstowne Alexandria. The lady's name was d o l l i e c l i f l o n. One of the best tax ladies I ever did business with she's on point she's very nice and I was very very very very very happy with the results of my taxes. Thank you and I will see you next year.

Our appointment was at Kingstown’s location in Alexandria inside Walmart the lady who did our taxes was on time but it took 3 hours to complete The lady was very nervous it seemed like she does not know what she was doing she was not organized at all papers were all over the place and keep looking for them it was a nightmare the printer had problems she couldn’t print out the vouchers We did not think ours informations were secured That was very scary They charged way more than H&R Block with a very bad service I mean bad I will never recommend them to anyoneBad place to file taxes and high risks of identity theftThat location does not deserve a starG L M

Went to the one in Kingstown Walmart in Alex VA meet with Dulie, {I think that's what her name tag} read, she was super helpful, went over, all documents, their was a lot of different in filing this year then last year, IRS has changed a lot of things so be prepared and have patience. Great Job!
