Stayed here on new year eve for 1 night. There was no self parking in the hotel but they offered a valet parking. The valet service was convenient and fast. The hotel located in the center of tourist attractions and easy walk to the waterfront of potomac river to see the firework. Lots of restaurants nearby. The service from checkin to checkout was awesome. The room was on the small side but was clean and have everything you need.

My boyfriend booked a room here for my birthday and we had a terrible experience with Angela who works at the front desk who is racist. He has reached out through so many different emails, live chats etc. to get in contact with a manager and no one has yet to respond. It’s been a week and we haven’t heard anything back. Ocean and Randolph were amazing. Randolph also witnessed Angela’s racist antics towards us in the lobby. She is extremely rude, aggressive, and condescending. We ended up checking out early because of how rude she was and went to book another hotel. Thanks a lot. Never returning again.

Good location. Rooms small but nice. Terrible gym. 2 benches and free weights to 50 lbs. It’s the size of a hotel room. One piece of each type of cardio equipment. One sit-up mat that looks like it’s a heavily abused dog toy.

Located right on historic king street, this was an awesome location. The rooms were so clean and comfortable. They had these amazing little motion sensor lights on the bottom of the beds for nighttime, so helpful. The service was top notch from every individual I dealt with during my stay. Valet was efficient and helpful. Will absolutely stay here again when in town for business.

Clean hotel, EXCELLENT service (valet was always prompt, quick and friendly) with an excellent restaurant and staff. This is a hotel valued for it's location, so as far as value for your money, you'll be paying a lot more than a hotel 10 mins away, but you won't be able to just walk out into the heart of Old Alexandria. For a work conference/vacation, the location was wonderful. If you're ready to spend some money, you'll have a quality stay here.

I like the location near the train station, but not so close that is is noisy. My husband and I checked in late after midnight and the front desk staff was very friendly. I liked the Jeurig in the lobby where I made myself a cup of Sleepytime tea before heading to the room, only to realize that my room had Sleepytime tea and an assortment of Keurig pods in the room. I liked the room setup, the bed which I found comfy, but my husband found a little soft. Then again, I just ran a trail race in the morning, so just lying down was a comfort! I like how powerful the shower head is, and they also have one robe in the room for your use. The fridge is unusual, looks like a cabinet under the safe, but it did keeep my husband's drink cool! I like the safe location and all the bookshops, stores, and restaurants nearby. I would definitely come back if in the area!

This was a nice hotel to stay in. It fulfilled most of what I needed for the weekend I was staying in Alexandria. The only issue I had is that the room did not include a fridge, just a cooler with limited size, that was awkward to open. I ended up not using it and was careful not to buy any food that needed refrigeration.Everything else was nice however, and I did like have a restaurant and bar right there in the hotel. Location was perfect for what I needed to do in Old Town.

I was very happy with my one night weekend stay. Received the suite upgrade as a globalist. Room was quiet with nice views. Valet parking was very fast (<5 mins waiting time for pick up). Breakfast had good options for vegetarians. WIFI was not the fastest with a download speed of 9 mb/s. Did not find a USB charger near the night stand.

Stayed here for work. Very nice location. Walking distance to most of all the nice restaurants in Alexandria. The food was good at the restaurant for breakfast. I would not hesitate to stay again.Nearby activities: A good selection of restaurants nearby.

Well I got off to a bad start. I got there a little before 1 pm and was told they had rooms available but it would be $25 unless I came back at 2.It was loud in room and I heard people come and go from other rooms. Nothing insane but enough to build on bad start. I didn't try breakfast, even though included, because it was near empty there. The valet only is very expensive and a pain to use.If I didn't have the bad start I'd give it 2 stars but because of that I want others to know. Avoid it. I was in another hotel for work all week in the area and it was great then I came here. Room is small too and the wifi is slow

The older gentleman who works at the front desk deserves a raise honestly he was so nice and informative and I felt like he genuinely was concerned for my safety during the 4th of July, he answered all my questions and was a joy to be around I wish I remembered his name. The area is beautiful walking distance to absolutely everything and the metro is easy to understand and use for people not from here.Price was reasonable with parking and valet being worthil every penny

This hotel is really cute, located in a great spot, etc so I'm giving it a 4 overall...but, the front desk people are snooty and when I called a few days after my stay to ask why I was charged twice for my stay, the lady I spoke with was rude and snooty too. Everyone besides the LOVELY valet (he was super nice), acted like they were doing me a favor. I won't stay there again because of this.
