Great pharmacy with helpful associates. Never had any problems. They were extra sensitive when I was going through chemo.

Always and consistently, the absolute worst produce of any of our local markets, including the other nearby Harris Teeters. If you are looking for fresh produce, save your time and go anywhere else.

The pharmacist is very rude. I asked a question and was given a lot of attitude. I’ve never been treated so rudely at a pharmacy.

(Translated by Google) Very bad attention when he found out that I did not know English, resist the one named Reem, arrogant, he kicked me as he made the gesture when I spoke to him in Spanish wow, lack of training for the staff and since they think they are the owners of the pharmacy, they did not want to attend to me until the another lady said yes and she solved it but very bad experience I do not recommend visiting because very bad experience(Original)Muy mala atención cuando supo que no sabía inglés resista la de nombre Reem arrogante me trato de la patada como le hizo el gesto cuando le hablé español wow falta de capacitación al personal y como se creen dueños de la farmacia no me quería atender hasta que la otra señora dijo que si y lo soluciono pero muy mala experiencia no les recomiendo visitar pues muy mala experiencia

No black hair care products. Won't be returning. Would be nice to see more products because we do frequent this location.

We are longtime Express Lane customers at this HT. For years, our weekly order has included 5 gallons of nonfat HT milk. We stopped buying milk from this HT after months of gallon after gallon going bad near or before its sell-by date. (Milk should remain fresh ~1 week past its sell-by date.) We made multiple calls to no avail. HT said no one else raised any complaints. They said they would try to identify the issue. They offered us store credit. But the milk kept going bad. Today, the Express Lane team put three separate packages of moldy ravioli in our order. (See photo. Maybe check the refrigeration over there?) I can see missing the middle one. But the other two? Or all three?HT's Express Lane service is super-convenient. But not if we have to make separate trips to another store for milk. Or a return trip to HT because all the ravioli has mold on it.

Very limited food selections, hefty prices and NO Customer Service. As a disabled senior citizen in need of assistance, I tried to express my needs and concerns with CS. The woman kept looking down, filling out forms. She had no interest in me or my comments. Very RUDE! It's not the first time I've experienced such incompetence and disregard for the customer. Want apples, milk or non-Starbucks coffee, or someone to assist you? Go elsewhere. This store is NOT USER/CONSUMER FRIENDLY!

I have to say the new Pharmacist is about as bad as they come. I used the Harris Teeter Pharmacy in Shirlington from 2009 to this past Summer, roughly 13 years. I moved and it was inconvenient to get there but the staff is so nice and the service, excellent. The Foxchase Harris Teeter Pharmacy is a 180 degree difference. If you ask which meds you are picking up, you can hear the sigh on the other side of the plexiglass - then the medications names are read so loudly that anyone in the Health and Beauty Dept or half of Frozen foods can hear clearly, so much for HIPPA. I have done that the last few times I picked up prescriptions because they almost never include all of the prescriptions I requested refills on- the one that I am out of or nearly out of invariably is not filled. I don't understand why not and, if you ask, you will get a heavy sigh and an eye roll. Last week my doctor sent in a new prescription and it requires that you get additional prescriptions so that it is used properly - I got everything home and went to start the new prescription and right on the label it says "use with (blank) purchase separately". I called the pharmacy and spoke to the pharmacist and she responded as though she had no idea what I was talking about - I'm sure that she could have found it on the shelf or looked it up but, instead she was defensive and antagonistic. It has been a week since my doctor sent the prescription in and I still do not have everything - they have the order and the prescription- it's just not filled. On top of the overall poor morale which translates to poor service, the missing refills, shouting out the names of your meds and never ever a smile - I received a phone call from this pharmacist over the weekend and she told me, "A lot of people that use X also take medication for Y. You should talk to your doctor about getting a prescription for that too." I am thinking "You have the audacity to call me and tell me to tell my doctor to write a prescription for a medication that "a lot of people take when taking 'X'." The call was completely unacceptable, out-of-line, unwanted AND I don't trust this woman to tell me the time of day let alone think that she can tell my physician of 20 years, she is listed in the Washingtonian Top Docs for several years now and is extremely thorough, I am supposed to tell her to prescribe something that the pharmacist said "a lot of other people take when taking "X". HELL NO! I have a prescription to pickup tomorrow and then I will transfer my prescriptions to another pharmacy. Do yourself a favor and avoid this pharmacy. If you have a sinus infection and need to get your antibiotic filled - go through the CVS drive-thru; this pharmacy seems to be where all of their bad staff are sent to commiserate. I just cannot and will not tolerate their ineptitude and poor attitudes.

I have been shopping at this location since they opened. Used to be a great place to shop, but quality and service has been declining heavily over the past few years especially the del, fish and meat departments.. I used buy a roasted chicken from there every other week until I bought a few underdone, a couple with feathers and got so grossed out I cant even look at chicken in general without gagging. Couple of weeks ago I purchased pork that was rotten and stinky.Their deli is even worse, I waited 30 mins and few days later another 15 without getting help. Management either doesn't care or isn't aware. I was told by some of the employees that they are seriously understaffed, but that is not an excuse for selling rotten products. What happened to your quality standards Harris Teeter?

The head pharmacist was unnecessarily rude and extremely judge-mental.

Keep waiting for this place to be consistent on help .Half the staff cares and half the staff you are bothering. They have allowed my meds to be given to me wrong twice in a year. I think I’m done for now
