I randomly found this place in google maps by searching for the nearest cleaners that did alterations. I was very pleased with the professionalism and quality of the work. The seamstress provided her input and I’m glad she offered. In less than a week, I received all three items (cargo skirt, flared jeans and denim vest) which fit perfectly and the service was reasonably priced. I’ll be returning here to have more items altered in the near future.

So far so good with Greener Cleaner on both dry cleaning and minor alterations. My suits came back looking new, and having the waist on a pair of pants altered was only about $25.

I came in to have a large number of items altered for the winter after moving back from a hot climate overseas. Things were going well with a very nice seamstress when the front desk clerk announced they were closed and I would have to leave. I noted I was on my final item, but she said I would have to come back another day, despite the seamstress having been hard at work for more than 30 minutes measuring cuffs and gems for alternations. The clerk then quipped that some people have a life and she is closing the store. Not to project, but she seems like a young person who has never had to work to put food on her table, because she was more determined to be out the door on the dot at 6 than to get the job done or exercise any stewardship for the business where she works. To whomever the owner is, the front desk person on duty on 9 October is not doing your business any favors. She lost you about $300 in business on 9 October, and likely my business for the next several years. I'm one of the rare people who still has to go to work 5 days a week, generally in a suit or similar, so I still do alternations and dry clean frequently. It's a shame, as I was hoping to use Greener Cleaners, as they are close to home, but they won't stay in business with help like this. I obv took all my items and left, and won't be back. I'm now driving all of the pants and jackets to Yates Cleaners, who will have an easy job after Greener Cleaner's seamstress already did all the measurements and pinning.

We had our rug cleaned by Greaner Cleaner, and it looks fantastic!!! There was a pet stain (dog urine) in a very visible location that is completely gone.Very happy, and highly recommend this service.

This is my favorite place to bring my dry cleaning. They do a great job, are efficient, and always super friendly. One of the businesses that make Del Ray such a great place.

I wish I could give this place 0 stars. Brought my husbands military uniform in and asked if they can do military creases. They were adamant they could. For $15 you'd think a shirt and pants would come back perfect. A week later we received the shirt absolutely ruined. Where one crease should be, there are three creases and new creases in the sleeves and crooked half creases in the back. The shirt is absolutely unwearable even if we were to take it somewhere for them to try to fix, that's how deep set they made the creases. We will have to purchase a new khaki shirt. If you are military, I would not recommend this place if you care about looking professional.Service: Alterations

I'm beyond pleased with this wonderful small business! My dry cleaning is turned around in a quickly and the service is exceptional!! I've also used them for alterations and was happy with the results. It's really close to my house and you can pick up your dry cleaning even during non business hours, which is nice bc my work hours vary quite a bit. I'm grateful to find this gem right near my house!Services: Delivery

Greener Cleaner of Del RayDo not use this cleaner. The website states …"We are passionate about giving our customers the highest quality service available.” Nothing could be further from the truth. We (husband and wife) have tried this cleaner on a few occasions. We first used him about 10 years ago, and he promptly lost a pair of pants. After a lot of haggling, the owner grudgingly paid for the lost pants. Due to his unpleasant attitude, we chose not to use him again until recently when our former cleaner went out of business. Because we want to patronize local Del Ray businesses, we thought of giving him a second chance (HUGE MISTAKE). This time I took several of my husband’s white, custom-made dress shirts for laundering, and both came back with obvious yellow stains on the front, probably from a cleaning chemical or spilled starch. When this was brought to the clerk’s attention, she took the shirts back for a second cleaning. But both shirts were returned in the same condition with the same obvious yellow stains. These stains were not present before being taken to the cleaner. This time the owner was at the facility. He stated, “I don’t know why you come here” and aggressively told me to take the shirts, adding that was the best that could be done, with no more explanation.I told my husband about the incident and he decided to go there and get an explanation. The owner lied and claimed the shirts were stained prior to delivery and aggressively ordered him to leave his shop. My husband pointed out that this business already has bad reviews and should not be looking for more. He flippantly replied, “go ahead a write a review”. So here we are. Do not use this cleaner on Mount Vernon Avenue in Del Ray. The owner is rude to customers and his cleaning is poor quality.

I came to drop off a jacket and the gentleman at the front desk (who I found rude) asked for my phone and address. I gave him my # but politely asked not to share my home address – as I would be picking up and dropping off. He said “No. You know who we are, we want to know who you are.” …To dry clean a blazer?!I said no thank you and walked out. Plenty of other local options ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
