Scammers like no other. I came to this place to get my state inspection done without my husband, which was A huge mistake first, I get told that “all four of my brakes need to be changed and two of my tires are no good” Then after I tell him, I need to call my husband. He comes back out and says we can do two of your breaks instead like this is some kind of negotiation. I tell him no, and his final offer went to $300 to change one of my brakes to pass the inspection. So without me even saying a word, he changed the price from $1200 to $600 to $300. on top of that I was charged for them not doing a single damn thing. They change the price on me three different times and then told me if I come back I only have to pay them one dollar.
Edit: Took my car to a different shop and passed without any questions…..

They Gas is always affordable. Nice customer service. No problem. But need to accept foodstamps for food items like other game stations.

I got scammed. I got 2.92 regular 87 gas. They overcharged me and gave me a receipt which was almost 25% higher. Be aware and avoid this place!!!

This place tried to scam me during my inspection! Told me my car failed and I needed new shocks and I had a leak in my power steering. This raised alarm bells since I had my engine worked on in a different place just a month earlier. Took it back the place I had work down before, no issues whatever.
I had brought a different car in the day before for an inspection, which also failed, and told I needed new brakes. Probably a scam as well, only solace I have is that brakes need to be replaced eventually anyway so worst case I just didn’t get full value from my previous brakes.
DO NOT USE THIS SHOP!!!!

Sometimes I have to wonder if I am at the same place others are reviewing.
When I go to get gas, I want cheapest not a best friend. It is worth my while to drive from Arlington to Alexandria for a car fill up, the price is that significant. Entry in to the gas station is simple enough. The only thing I could appreciate is longer gas hoses. Lesson learned, drive in and pull up with the gas cap side on the pump side, otherwise.... the price is magnifique.
Havent been inside but.... one day maybe. For food or snack? I drive to my perfect place for calories.... on Washington Avenue south of King Street. Another review, another day.
You are in view and proximity of the USPTO and of the George Washington Memorial, both well worth the historical note on a perfect day

HORRIBLE. Completely shady, scammy guys running inspections. Told my car failed and that I’d have to pay thousands to repair in order to pass. Also, my engine needed complete replacement. Nothing, absolutely nothing, was wrong with my car. They didn’t even give me a print out with estimates or what needed to be done, just told me numbers very fast and scribbled on a pad that he never gave me. I left and went to a better place and they were shocked my vehicle didn’t pass and said what this guys did is illegal. They have to give you write up of why it failed, I was never given this. Women especially beware! This is a scam to get you to pay $$$. My car was fine and I ended up having to pay an extra inspection fee to figure that out because shocker, NOTHING was wrong with my car. Stay away!!!!

I come to this gas station just about every day or every other day. Their service is the BEST out of any other gas station I’ve ever been too, and I genuinely mean that. They have the cheapest gas within a 20 mile radius as well! They have a 6¢ discount per gallon if you pay with cash, and conveniently have a surcharge free ATM inside as well if you don’t happen to have cash with you. They’re open 24 hours with an attendants available at all times. This is the only gas station I ever go to, and even the kind gentleman that work here recognize me every time. They always ensure to greet me with a warm welcome and a smile on their face. This gas station is a win-win in every category. You’d be crazy to not make this your regular go-to spot to fill up, grab snacks, or even have your vehicle serviced/inspected. 10/10 in every category!!

I am only giving a 1 star because I have to submit a star to leave a post. The management and shop worker treated the customers with the worst manners. When I called to schedule an appointment for my vehicle, I was told to just come in before 5. I said I won't be able to get there til 4:45. I was told that would be fine. I arrived at 4:45 and the shop worker said, nope, I will not take anymore today. I brought this up to the manager he only shrugged his shoulders and said, oh well. I explained that I came here because he told me they would take me at this time. Again, just a shrug. Don't bother coming here for maintenance, gas, or in any capacity that would allow this shop to benefit from you.
