Seriously the worst CVS pharmacy in the DMV area. Horribly incompetent and unorganized. They constantly fail to fill prescriptions I order, without providing a notification, and always use the excuse “the warehouse must be out of it”. They also sometimes take days to fill prescriptions. The gentleman at the register is very kind, but some of the pharmacists are condescending.

This the most terrible CVS pharmacy in the nation. These people are so unprofessional it's ashame.everytime you go there it's new employees in the pharmacy. And no one seems to have a clue what they are doing the waiting time is unbelievably long. And this been going on for a few years now. It's getting worse. They need to be trained by a professional pharmacist who can train them how to fill prescriptions in a timely manner. I understand this is a busy store but they should be able to keep up with the volume. This is just an ongoing problem that seems no store management is looking at.and customers are agitated. Something needs to be done or this location will lose a lot of customers.

Great pharmacy. Personnel is really helpful. They got out of their way to help me. The pharmacist helped me with my insurance. Was able to get my pills thanks to them.

Single handedly one of the worst CVS’s I have ever been to (the 24hr one on Duke St is a close second). I waited in line to pick up a simple prescription for almost 25 mins. By the time I finally picked it up a huge line was forming behind me. Everyone was irritated and frustrated. The cashier Omid was trying his best but you could see how overwhelmed he was. He needed back up and neither the pharm tech nor store manager stepped in to help. Horrible service.

I love my CVS at 259 so van dorn st. I met a new manager there today and she is Great!!!! The pharmacy staff is also very very helpful, kind and understanding.

The worst pharmacy I’ve ever dealt with and from other reviews it sounds like others have had the same experience. Went to fill a prescription for our sick toddler and they told us we should go to a different pharmacy because they close in 2 hours and would have to call the doctor, etc. It was clear they just didn’t want to have to do the work. Once when we were traveling and had to fill a prescription and they needed to get information from THIS Van Dorn CVS to fill it, we had to wait 2 days because they just never answer the phone even during open hours.If you can, pick literally any other pharmacy in the world.

The pharmacy fails to put critical information about one of my prescriptions in my file although I’ve been asking them to do that for about two years, which then delays a vital prescription for a couple weeks while I try to get through on their phone system which doesn’t allow you to talk to anybody in person or leave a message, I voice this and other concerns on their feedback survey after every single visit and it doesn’t appear that my concerns are ever addressed. The straw that broke the camel’s back was: their latest response to my concerns, which is the absolute worst example of Customer service I have ever seen: “Thank you for your feedback regarding your experience at the Van Dorn Street CVS Pharmacy on August 18, 2023. We’re sorry to hear that your experience did not meet your expectations. I hope in the future you find a pharmacy that meets your expectations and customer satisfaction. They clearly have no intent of addressing any of their problems

I would like to give an accommodation to the lead pharmacist ( black male apologies I didn't get your name)and the team in the pharmacy on duty today 8/16/23 between 12:30 and 3pm.Although stretched thin with back to back customers, complaints and calls they exceeded expectations of good customer service!They made sure my 85 year old grandma (Momma Franklin) had the meds she needed.Thanks to your compassion, professionalism and words of wisdom my grandma will rest easy tonight.
