The pharmacy staff was very incompetent and didn't pay attention to detail when working with our insurance company. They ran the Covid-19 boosters as a pharmacy visit instead of as medical visit, so it was denied, and then they tried to charge us $190 per vaccine. When I called our insurance, they said it's covered, it's just CVS staff didn't run it correctly. Then they wouldn't fit us for next appointment although it was their mistake because they were short staffed.

They never answer the phoneYou can stand at the counter for ages before anyone has any interest in helping you If you asked questions regarding medication, you are greeted with an attitude

I have not had a lot of good experiences in a CVS and this one is no exception BUT the reason I give it a 4-5 is because of one woman who works there who is AMAZING!! She works in the Pharmacy and her name name is Helen! I have to go to get my meds there as that is when my insurance sends me and she is so awesome I have literally asked her when she is working so i can be sure to go back when she is working! I don't want to say all of the workers there are bad, that isn't fair but I am saying I have definitely experienced quite a few of them! So all I am going to say, if you go to the pharmacy you need to get Helen's schedule because she is AWESOME!!!

I shouldn't have even bothered trying to get a Covid booster here as it was the same crap as the last time. The app lets you make an appointment and when you arrive, they tell you they don't have it. Mind you, they do so in the slowest, rudest way possible. The people that work there have been horrible for years and nothing has changed.

The pharmacy techs are rude. And slow. They always seem really annoyed at having to do their jobs. Even during non-peak hours, you can't get through the drive through in less than 30 minutes. I don't know if they're understaffed. Or just don't care. But it's really annoying.

Go somewhere else. Very rude staff and an extremely slow pharmacist. Left my insurance company on hold for an hour after they failed to properly check for an important medication I needed.

Don't waste your time going here, the staff are very rude and have no idea what they are doing. Go to Safeway in Kingstowne, you won't be disappointed, and prescriptions are cheaper!

If you need a Covid test go to a different location. This location is not helpful. The pharm tech didn't provide direction on how to do the test properly. She would ask a question then walk away before I could answer. I'm sure my test will be inconclusive.Do yourself a favor and go to a different location.

I scheduled a Covid test 2 weeks out. On the day of my appointment, they cancelled my appointment a little more than an hour before my appointment time. I tried to call the store, but all I got was a run around from the automated phone prompts. The only actual human being that I was able to get a hold of was at a call center so she had no idea. Since it was a last minute cancellation, I couldn't find any available appointment that same day or the next day. My Covid test was for travel so I was under a time crunch. I later found out that the system was down. It would be nice if they have a back-up plan for instances like this. I ended up having to go to the urgent care clinic that doesn't accept health insurance. I hope that the insurance company will reimburse me since I'm now out $800+ for covid tests for 3 people.

Pharmacist this evening was rude and unhelpful at the CVS Landsdowne Center, Alexandria, VA. They were out of the medication for my son who is very sick so staff told me to wait for the Pharmacist to help me search for other CVS locations that have it. After 15 minutes, he finally comes over looking irritated and says, "Are you waiting for me help you?" I repeated the reason I needed his help and he basically says he's too busy, stand aside, so he can help the next customer. Will not be going back to this pharmacy.

Horrible idea. Longest waiting time ever. Suggestion: should have a limit within certain time periods as to who has to come for pick up.
