Great Experience...Personalized Attention...Very Happy With the ShoesSimilar to many others, we were an out of town visitor to Old Town, Alexandria. Decided to check out Comfort One. I have foot/ankle issues so finding comfortable, supportive and not ugly shoes is always a challenge.When we entered, we were greeted by David. He listened and made many suggestions. He made us feel like he had all the time in the world for us even though he was balancing the droves of other customers that kept coming in.Very positive experience. Really happy with the shoes...I left with three pairs.Highly recommend....Will go back...Many thanks to David. He "earned" our business.

I had a wonderful experience at Comfort One Shoes today thanks to Brian! Not only do they carry a large variety of quality and comfortable shoes and accessories, but the customer service really makes this place stand out. Brian was spectacular and made my experience so easy and fun. He was extremely knowledgeable and professional, and I felt that he really listened to what I wanted and was thoughtful in his recommendations based on my particular needs. I had a great experience today! I normally hate shoe shopping, I wear an ankle foot orthotic and have the hardest time shopping for shoes. But Fred was very kind and knowledgeable about the orthotic and made me feel very comfortable trying on various shoes. Thank you for making shoe shopping an enjoyable experience for me!

They had a decent collection of shoes. A scanning machine to scan your foot. Prices at MSRP. Higher end shoes like Hoka, Cloud, etc. My gripe is with the employee. He was rude and condescending. I was so angry I almost left the store but needed a pair of shoes. Would not recommend unless you are in the mood to get lectured about everything from how you stand when you try on shoes, how you should not move your feet while you stand, why you wear inserts- all delivered with a heavy dose of sarcasm and blunt rudeness.

Brian Hall and his team were awesome! My hubby and I truly enjoyed our experience and walked away with some great boots. Can’t remember the last time someone measured our feet or actually helped us put on our shoes. Definitely recommend!

I was at this store a few weeks ago with my husband. I tried two different kind of shoes and the woman was helpful while trying different colors for the sneakers I was interested in. I decided to take only 1 of the 2 pair of shoes I tried on, and that’s when the problem came. Her demeanor changed and she became very rude. She became like a little girl having a temper tantrum. I am assuming they work on commission, but still customer care should not be based on what you buy. Very awkward and uncomfortable experience.

I won't shop for shoes anywhere else (that is unless I cannot find the style I am needing). Ask for the "shoe whisperer"; he's professional and KNOWS footwear! So far, I've gotten 3 pair from him after he was able to determine the foot bed I needed, etc post standing on this machine they have in their store.

I came across Comfort One Shoes while visiting Old Town Alexandria this past weekend. After walking all day in my favorite old boots, my feet were killing me so I popped into Comfort and was greeted by Theresa, she was awesome.I found a boot I liked, she worked with me to find the right size, knew her products and even stretched them overnight for me so I could wear them sight seeing on Sunday. She even let me pick them up before the store was opened for the day.If all that wasn’t already way beyond my expectations, she took my old boots (which I was ready to trash) and offered to take them to the cobbler for me since I was leaving first thing on Monday to see if they could put back together. Her customer service is refreshing and unexpected in this day of self serve.Thank you Theresa, I will be coming back!!
