A little peace of heaven in Old Town Alexandria. Daily dinner, clothing closet, food bank (now on Eisenhower Ave in Alexandria), men's shelter, and other services. The staff were so nice and helpful when I visited them for the first time yesterday.

A Christian charities operation that provides a free meal every single night anybody who wants one. Lots of volunteers, lots of activity, so sometimes things get lost or fall through the cracks. Not the most responsive management team there. Bless their hearts.
