I made an appointment to perform the yearly service at this location. The car is in pretty good shape, so all they found that needed to be done was to align the suspension and rotate and balance the tires.Unfortunately I was told that they don't do any diagnostic or repair work on the weekends - and would need to come back a other day to do that.So why did I come here then? Shouldn't this be clearly stated on their website when I made the appointment?From the time I arrived to drop the car off until now...when I'm still waiting to get my car back...it's been over 3 and a half hours. Still not sure what for.Am I on a hidden camera show?

Waiting 50 minutes (so far) past my appointment time for a simple tire rotation and brake fluid flush and no service rep has talked to me.Nice greeter was his first day on the job. Not his fault this place doesn't value its customers time or know how to keep an appointment.J&F Motors on four mile run is MUCH better for your BMW service in Arlington/Alexandria.

I was really excited to test drive a vehicle that I was interested in purchasing. I walked into the dealership and waited at the empty reception desk. After standing around for a few minutes, not being greeted and having numerous employees walk past me. Guess I'll take my business elsewhere.

I just want to take a minute to talk about my experience at BMW of Alexandria. As you can see, I gave it five stars because of my experience from beginning to end, and more especially I would like to give high praise to the salesperson, Ms. Karen Cruz. Karen always has a friendly smile on her face and an upbeat positive encouraging attitude which makes you feel like "HOME". I cannot say enough about Karen, she is an extremely genuine lady, a person of honor, and a professional with integrity. She offered a beverage while we discussed the vehicle, and she provided a tour of the dealership and the service department. I found she was highly knowledgeable of BMW's history as well as the lineup of vehicles. She went above and beyond to assist in the purchase of the BMW X1 to make sure all my expectations were met. I selected to customize my BMW X1 with features not available at the dealership or surrounding dealerships. The vehicle was custom built in Regensburg Germany, which increase the delivery time to the dealership. Karen kept weekly status updates that were clear and concise communications with me by phone, e-mail and in person when I visited the dealership. I felt like there were no games with her. Karen provided no pressure, and I did not feel rushed. I truly appreciate Karen's patience as well as listening to what my needs were. The price was exactly as negotiated, no last-minute surprises. When my vehicle arrived at the dealership, Karen reached out to me, and we set up an appointment for me to pick up my X1. Once I arrived at my appointment, the vehicle was so beautiful I almost cried. Karen patted me on my back, and she said this is your X1. Karen explained the BMW Genius program to me. The very friendly BMW Genius representative came over and explained the program and helped me with the BMW app and product information. Later in the week I came to the dealership to purchase additional accessories for my vehicle, Karen took the time to speak with me as well as giving outstanding service to her customer. I noticed that Karen pays special attention to her past and present customers. I have already started recommending her to family and friends who are looking for a BMW vehicle. Karen Cruz is the "MPV" for BMW of Alexandria and thank you for hiring such a wonderful team member. If you are looking to buy a vehicle soon, pay a visit to BMW of Alexandria and ask for Karen Cruz, you will be glad you did and you will not regret it.

I've really come to believe that BMW of Alexandria should be better known as the house of bait and switch! I received a $200 gift card from BMW of Alexandria that says to be used in their service department. If you look at the photos included here, you will see that there is no exclusion of any kind mentioned in this so-called gift card offer. So I took my car to them for an alignment and asked if I could use the $200 gift card towards the $228 price that they have. I was told no, the gift card is not valid for that, even though it came to me from them without any restrictions or any limitations or exclusions on the document. Needless to say, I was surprised and disappointed; so I took my car to another dealer and they took care of it. I don't intend to take my car back to this company ever again because if they cannot honor a gift card, I'm not sure what type of service or quality I could expect from them.

As an update. BMW Corporate customer relations was finally able to contact the finance department and they "lost my paperwork" for my refund and said they "reached out to me". I haven't heard from BMW of Alexandria in over a month and a half. How do you LOSE paperwork in an email? I have since filed an official complaint.

I have been attempting to work with the finance Department of BMW of Alexandria for almost 3 months now to receive a refund on warranty’s I paid for (after selling a call I purchased from them). I have received zero help from BMW of Alexandria after numerous calls, emails, and even showing up in person once. I have since filed a report with BMW corporate, and they are also struggling to get an answer from their finance person (Vafa Z.). I am owed a few thousand dollars in refunds. Please be cautious when dealing with finance at this dealership and attempt to receive warranty refunds at your own risk. Hoping to hear back from corporate this upcoming week as well.

I wanted to make sure i gave a huge shout out to Ina, Steve and most of all Eric. My car broke down out of no where and i left on the side of the road with no idea what had happened. I had to get it towed back to my house that is in Winchester Va which is about 1hr away from the closest dealership. I contact this dealership and the customer service was hands down the best i have ever got from a dealership. Eric is the lead technician and drove all the way out to my house at his own expensive just so he could take a look at what was going with it and was able to diagnose the issue on the spot. After finally getting it towed to the dealership Steve and Ina work with me and i was able to get everything resolved at a super reasonable price. Thank you again to this amazing team they have at the BMW of Alexandria.

2022 X3 - I had a punctured tired I needed replaced. Since I was getting a new tire, I also asked for the tires to be rotated and my advisor also recommended an alignment. The weather stripping on the right passenger back door also needed replaced. Upon picking my car up, I noticed the new tire was in the same spot. There was no evidence that this dealer actually rotated my tires. Nor did I really need an alignment. With regard to the weather stripping, BMW Fairfax initially fixed the weather stripping for me under warranty and it was now loose again. BMW Alexandria would not replace the weather stripping under warranty because it looked like "I had damaged it and therefore it would not be covered." They wanted to charge me over $850 for weather stripping after telling me someone must have gotten caught on it and ripped it off. I don't have kids and hardly ever have passengers using the back door. The car is brand new with 14.5k miles. Not to mention - I have an UPGRADED WARRANTY that is supposed to cover everything except tires. A "luxury" vehicle, or any vehicle for that matter, should not have weather stripping that's peeling off after a year of use and the manager implying that this was somehow my fault was insulting. Do better. Additionally, I've used both Passport BMW and BMW of Fairfax for servicing before and both offer substantially better options for waiting. Passport BMW has offered me a loaner, even dropping them off so I didn't have to leave the house. BMW Alexandria said they were booked two weeks in advance for loaners. BMW Fairfax also offers Ubers and Lyfts free of charge up to a certain amount. BMW Alexandria offers... ... .. a shuttle. All this evidenced by their 3.5 star rating compared 4.5+ of other local BMW dealers. I don't see a reason to ever come back here again unless it's a DIRE emergency.

Abed is the best! He is amazing and makes the process really smooth. Great service and they know they’re stuff. This was the easiest dealership I have worked with. I was in and out in total 2 hours. Delivery was efficient but also made sure that everything was covered with Car setup. The only feedback I have was updating the financing checkout from paper to electronic process.

If zero stars were an option, that would be a more accurate reflection of my review! I worked in management of car business for many years so I'm very familiar with how car dealerships run. First, this dealership claims to have ONE price, there is ZERO negotiation! Second, customer service is AWFUL!!! Third, they are RUDE and LIE and still owe me money!I purchased a vehicle from them earlier this year. I knew the vehicle and made arrangements with Andri to test drive the vehicle at a specific time. I showed up on time and took a while to find someone to help me and direct me to Andri! I took a quick test drive and check the vehicle over and sat down to negotiate. There was no negotiating, none! The agreed to give me all weather mats for my vehicle though. I already had obtained my own financing and extended warranty and proceeded to complete all the necessary paperwork. I went to pick up cashier checks from my bank and was told to text copies of the checks to Andri to facilitate the paperwork. I asked that I complete everything necessary so I could drop the checks off and leave when I returned. The process for the paperwork was quite slow, especially considering this was essentially a cash deal for them since I was providing cashier checks for the whole purchase. I also had my own tags that were being put on the vehicle. I send copies of those checks as requested and let Andri know precisely what time I would be back. Upon arrival he was with another customer and again, I couldn't find anyone to assist me. Then I was told it would be just about 3 minutes. I arrived back at the dealership before 2pm and by 230pm was beginning to get quite frustrated. Andri was not available and I was still waiting on the finance manger, Jeremy Seepersaud. I popped in to his office and asked how much longer it would be, he was quite RUDE to me! I asked Andri to ensure that there was absolutely NO dealer or other advertising on the vehicle and when I walk out to leave, this request was not honored! To make matters worse, they messed up the tags and I had to spend over an hour at DMV resolving this issue. I sent Andri a receipt for the mats that they promised me, he was on vacation and requested that I remind him the following week, which I promptly did. Three weeks later, I had still not received a check so I followed up. I was assured that I would have a check the following week and that it was 'processing', when i hadn't received a check the following week, i followed up again. I then reached out to the General manager and the used car manger multiple times over the last few weeks and NOT ONE person has returned a call or email NOR have they reimbursed me as promised! I really hoped they would follow through on their promises and redeem my HORRIBLE experience with them before i wrote any reviews, but here we are!

I purchased a vehicle here and I thought the people here were honest and had good integrity at least.I bought a loaded X5 which in all honesty I have never really liked.It drove more like a Honda Pilot than an expensive BMW.I could buy two Hondas for the price for what it’s worth.The X5 with its pro driving package is dangerous in my opinion.I had a low flying bird fly in front of me and the car slams on the brakes!Crazy stuff like that, do you pay extra for something you can’t really use that can be dangerous to use!That and you feel every pimple in the road.Drive over an hour and my back would be sore.So then I sell it. Or I should say I had to pay someone to take it off my hands!These vehicles value drops like a Rock!First time I have had that to deal with in years.Then they screw you on the extended warranty you purchased.Typical Rosenthal gimmicks!We will see how this goes, but probably not well!The Finance Department will not even return your calls.I was going to purchase another car from them, but I can see they aren’t very honest.I don’t even believe they ever applied the ciliajet to my car either.I read what it was supposed to do and doesn’t!BTW, the Hondas would still be worth more!Good luck with these guys!I am going to pass!Don’t believe me watch the auction prices!They were practically giving them away at the auction!

I recently visited BMW Alexandria for a simple state inspection, and I must say that it was one of the most outstanding customer service experiences I have had in a long time. From the moment I stepped into the dealership, I was greeted with warmth and professionalism, and Thomas Grant, in particular, went above and beyond to ensure my visit was exceptional.Thomas not only assisted me with the check-in process and had the necessary inspection completely quickly and efficiently on my vehicle, but he also extended his assistance to my husband and me in unexpected and heartwarming ways. My husband requires a wheelchair, and Thomas graciously took the initiative to help us air up the tires after we noticed they were starting to get flat. Additionally, we accidentally left behind a set of crutches, and Thomas, without hesitation, spoke with his manager and had their BMW valet driver deliver the crutches to our doorstep the next morning. This act of kindness saved us from making an arduous hour-long drive just to retrieve them.Thomas's dedication and attention to detail were truly remarkable. He demonstrated an exceptional understanding of the products he sells, effortlessly addressing any questions or concerns we had, and he did it all with a genuine smile on his face. His professionalism and willingness to go the extra mile left a lasting impression on us.Based on my first visit, I am eagerly looking forward to doing business with BMW Alexandria again.
