Went in to get a 2025 Premium Outback. I worked with Chris and he did a great job of making my vehicle purchase as easy as possible. They beat the competitor's price by a significant amount. Chris also walked me through the ins and outs of the Outback and that made my experience with this dealership even better. Overall, I would recommend this dealership to people that I know and I would definitely recommend Chris as their salesman. A job well done! Happy customer here.

Relevant to this review is 1. I bought a used Mazda, not a Subaru at this dealership and 2. I live in DC not VA. I was looking for a used car for my daughter. Saw a Mazda online with low mileage and an ok price. Went to look at it and said I would bring my daughter back for a test drive the next day. When I arrived on time with my daughter, the salesman was busy with another customer, so we waited for 20 min, listening to him haggling with another customer. Then we proceeded to be rushed through the process at lightning speed——there was some slight damage reported on the car’s records, but he indicated it was on the front bumper but had been repaired. Looked ok. He kept saying “this is basically a new car!”. He did not have time to explain any of the features. She went for a test drive. As we were signing the papers, it turned out there was no GPS Sim card, which was important to us. The salesman promised he would mail me one. Never came despite repeated requests (“they had to order it”—?)When we got home in different light, I was very surprised to see two small window cracks (like gravel cracks) on the front driver’s side. I immediately wrote the salesman, who said he asked his manager and there was nothing he could do. Of course, I should have noticed them, but they were not included in the damage report. It then took two and a half months for the tags and title department to remember to ask for my tags in DC. Since then, we have also noticed that a small indicator light is not functioning. I feel like I was railroaded and got the typical “single woman” treatment. Would NOT return to this dealership ever. Maybe if you are buying a subaru the experience is better.

Failed me for suspension on a state inspection and said I needed a service over $1k. I went right down the street and passed. Don’t waste your time and money.
UPDATE: The service manager never called me. The bushing was worn, but as the other shop told me, it wasn't really "failable".

I worked with Lance to purchase my 2025 Forest and Jim in finance. Lance was the best salesman to work with! He didn't push or talk non-stop! He was friendly, considerate and extremely helpful. I could have walked away from purchasing the vehicle and felt we were parting as friends. But, I chose to purchase from Lance because he was fair, knowledgeable and didn't push me to buy what I didn't want! Jim in finance was also extremely helpful and fair in setting up my financing and informed me of financial nuances I didn't know! I was grateful for his honesty and explanations. Two top notch Subaru reps! Thank you!

Pete was a fantastic salesperson to work with at Beyer Subaru! We looked at several different models over a couple of weekends. Pete was very personable and didn't try to pressure us into buying anything. He is very knowledgeable and proud of the Subaru brand. He worked out a fair deal for everyone and we drove off with a great new car that we love. Thanks Subaru and thank you Pete!

I was extremely impressed with the staff here. I purchased a new car, and Pete (my salesperson) listened to what I was looking for when purchasing an Outback. I had questions about several trim packages and Pete gave me the information that helped me purchase the trim that was best for me. You are treated as family, and everyone is very friendly. There is no pressure to purchase a car, they are there to answer your questions about Subaru’s. The service department is the best, the service advisors are courteous and professional. I would highly recommend Beyers Subaru for your next car.
UPDATE 9/16/24... Since I purchased my Outback, my wife purchased a new 21 Forester, and we are in the process of purchasing as 24 Crosstrek for my daughter. The salesman was Pete for all purchases, he listened to what we were looking for and very helpful. When the cars need services, from oil changes to regular maintenance work, we see Sandy. She keeps us informed as to the status of the service and if anything "pops" up, she lets us know. We will continue to deal with Beyer Subaru, now and in the future.

We had a great experience with Reagan! I went to a couple Subaru dealerships nearby, and from the start, Reagan provided the most honest pricing and quickest responses. She was never pushy and was completely fair in getting us the best deal possible. I walked away super happy with my new car!

Had the best car experience of my life. I worked with Peter to trade in dream car (WRX) which I just don’t drive anymore for a Solterra. I wanted something for my wife how drives to work and is always with the kiddos. Peter literally sprints around the dealership for you. Within 30 mins, he showed me the car, I test drove it, and had fair offer for my lease and the trade in. We arrived at numbers within 1 hour from arrival.
They gave me above KBB and Carmax offers for my trade. I didn’t have to fight for it. They didn’t leave me sweating for 30 mins everytime the sales rep had to ask the manager a pricing question. They respected the equity I had in the car. Which enabled me to get money back after the car note was settled. My previous exp is that dealers only concern themselves with clearing your note and then will only offer the minimium extra value required to lower your new lease payment to were it needs to be.
For the lease, they kept me near my current car payment. The deals on the website were real. The deal I walked out with was much better than what was on the website.
It appears it is standard practice for them to sell cars with all the accessories. So you don’t end figuring out 3/4 through the process that you negotiated getting a car that doesn’t have floor mats and now it will cost an extra grand to get them.
Doing the sales paperwork was easy, no stress and quick. They answered all questions about the papers. There was no funny business with the negotiated number changing on accident when it comes time to sign.

She has had the same Outback for over 20 years!! It's been an amazing car, but anytime service has been needed, Don Beyer Subaru has taken care of her. (Even when we tried to discourage her from going to the "dealer" for fear of high pricing). She insists on going to Don Beyer Subaru for all of her car needs because they treat her so nicely.
My sister recently took her to have a wiper issue repaired. Once again, they took good care of her.

Excellent experience with Mr. Slim Dakhch this afternoon. Mr. Dakhch took my call in the morning when I couldn’t get a reasonable appointment date online to replace my engine filter. He suggested that I come in to purchase the filter and he would have someone put it in for me. When I came in and another service rep advised that I drive my car in for the full service at a cost of $79.00+, Slim stepped in and introduced himself as the one I had talked to earlier that morning. He took me to the parts department so I could purchase the $30 filter and then had his technician put it in within minutes. This is the type of honest service I value and the reason I keep coming back to this location for the past 18 years, despite it being further away than another Subaru station. Employ more helpful employees, like Mr. Slim Dakhch, who value and respect the customers’ time and money than trying to turn a quick profit.

We had been shopping for small size SUV with HELPFUL tech, great safety and visibility. We landed on the 2024 Subaru Forester and picked one we liked from Beyer's on the lot inventory. Ron Samuels explained all the features with patience and an impressive depth of knowledge on the car and all the features. We walked thru the intimidating tech and with Ron's help, configured the test drive vehicle settings to provide a very informative ride. When we called back to place a deposit the one we wanted was sold. Ron searched the nearby inventory and arranged for delivery of another car with the exact same features. We are very appreciative of the help and extra service Ron provided to make sure we got the car we wanted despite high demand.

We went to Beyer Subaru to check out new 2024 Outbacks last weekend. Chris from the sales team took the time to walk us through all of the trim levels and options, do thorough test drives and make sure that we felt we had the right information to go home, talk about it and make a good decision.
We did some additional research and decided which options we wanted, and came back tonight to purchase the vehicle we chose.
End to end, it was the absolute most pleasant car buying experience I’ve ever had. We so appreciated the time Chris took with us to help us make an informed decision that we feel great about. We can’t thank Chris and Beyer Subaru enough!
