Battle Fitness was the first to appear during my research, and joining was the best decision I ever made! By the end of my first Body Transformation with Je, I've reduced 44 pounds and 11% body fat! My family and friends are so shocked when they see me and always ask me what I have done to achieve this transformation. Before Battle Fitness, for years, my previous lifestyle exacerbated my asthma, made my seasonal allergies severe, and made me very self-conscious about my body. I had tried multiple times to improve my health through fad diets and half-hearted attempts to exercise. Without proper guidance and accountability, I wasn't getting any results, and I felt discouraged. I needed help, and I'm glad I found it. By performing my Body Transformation virtually, achieving my goals is so much more convenient while having a full-time commuting job and occasional travel. I don't have to be self-conscious about strangers looking at me workout. I do semi-private personal training with Je and a handful of other clients that I see regularly. Everyone in the virtual session always encourages me to keep going and gives me kudos while witnessing my body's transformation. They have taught me to celebrate my wins. Je provides resources I reference to find recipes and create menus that I enjoy while properly fueling my body for my training sessions. Vegetables and fruits that I rarely ate before are now in my daily menu. My asthma has remarkably improved, and my cholesterol has decreased by 77 points! My transformation instilled a significant lifestyle change. I have never felt this confident with my body until now. I asked Je to get me comfortable in a bikini, and she did! I have never felt this great, not only physically but also mentally. I'm so happy I found Battle Fitness.

Working with Battle Fitness, I am happy with where I am vs where I started my journey.Being a skinny guy I didn’t have much definition in my body and wanted to change that. I wanted to develop muscles in my arms and chest. As well as trim down some body fat around my midsection.I joined Battle Fitness in hopes of finding a trainer to not only teach me how to work out properly but also hold me accountable during sessions and keep me pushing.I had two consultations with Je before officially joining. After our first consultation, I wanted to be sure I compared all my options, so I reached out to other trainers and found trainers that were cheaper but did not offer much regard of progress follows up, guidance with nutrition or food prep. Some that offered those options were too expensive for what I felt comfortable paying. I even did a trial workout with one trainer and their workout style was too high paced, and strenuous for me.During my transformation journey, I learned that what I eat is much more important than just working out. I learned that as a former track athlete on the thinner side my body has high metabolism but still has to receive a balanced diet if I want to achieve my goal with building muscle. The proper combination of both nutrition and exercise showed great results as I began to see my body tone and lean out in ways I never achieved when I have tried to shape my body in the past. It felt good when friends would comment that they see me and my progress. I even noticed that shirts I had that I wore fit me much more fitting and I saw my chest and arms showing definition without me even trying to flex.I trained in virtual semi-private sessions with other clients, which boosts accountability during the sessions. It’s great that I’m not alone, and we’re all striving to get the body we want. It helps to know that when I feel pushed to my limit, others are with me.Also, training online works in my favor. When I travel, I still have access to my sessions and stay on top of my workouts, whereas before, I may not have exercised for days. This has only been the start of my fitness journey, and I’m grateful to have taken my first steps with Battle Fitness.

If I told my old self that she would go from almost an obese level of body fat to a fitness level body fat in under a year, she would laugh and smack me for lying.Before Battle Fitness, at 123 pounds, I was "skinny fat." Even though I looked small, I was bigger than I wanted and felt weak. I couldn't climb stairs comfortably or sit up from a lying position! I tried diets and random exercises to lose weight and build strength, but my weight kept increasing after every failed attempt. My insomnia and anxiety worsened and with the fear of things only getting worse, I wanted to make a true change. Also, being engaged, I wanted to look and feel my best for my wedding day.A Google search for a local female trainer led me to Jé of Battle Fitness. By reading through previous clients' experiences, I felt Jé could help me make a permanent lifestyle change, and after my consultation, I knew this was the right choice.I train virtually in semi-private sessions! I love working out from home with other clients because it's a video call away! Everyone's energy motivates me to do my best. Jé also consults with me 1-1 to review my progress.Jé's website is a treasure trove of knowledge. I've learned how to feed my body for workouts by incorporating my favorite dishes without sacrificing taste.My body reduced fat by 9% through my size journey, and I lost 23 pounds! I have strength I've never had before. I can sit up, lift heavy things, like boxes of groceries, and I have the stamina for the activities I missed doing. I go rock climbing, and now I reach the top every time. I go dancing without feeling out of breath, and I go hiking and enjoy the scenery without feeling so exhausted.My wardrobe got a major update, downsizing from a 6P to a 2P, and I picked a wedding dress that needs no alterations!Thanks to Jé's guidance and my old self for pushing through the body transformation process, I have the confidence to tackle my next journey with Jé, and I can't wait to achieve more goals!

During the pandemic, I felt lost and unmotivated. I was in an unhealthy relationship, and I would drink often and emotionally eat to suppress my negative feelings about myself. I knew it was time for a change so I decided to get back on track with fitness. I came across the Battle Fitness website and felt inspired by the video testimonials, and since booking a consultation with Je, my life has never been the same! I worked with Je virtually online, which allowed me to participate in sessions while traveling, and I once even joined a session at the airport before my flight! Throughout my journey, I lost 5.5% of my body fat, reaching a level of fitness I had never achieved before! I left my toxic relationship and gained an amazing partner that values health and fitness, and also I made the decision to pursue my masters degree! When I first started with Battle Fitness, I had the expectation of my training to be focused on my physical capabilities and strength due to my experiences with other trainers in the past. However, Je takes a more holistic approach that encompasses physical, mental, and emotional. Everyone is different, and she acknowledges that by providing an individualized program that fits each client's specific needs. I have learned about nutrition, mindset, and consistency. Focusing on what I was putting into my body and how I was feeling was a pivotal moment for me. Being part of this journey, I've gained incredible friends, and I feel like I'm part of a community and have become more aware of my environment and who I surround myself with. My journey has been transformational beyond the physical. I'm truly grateful and appreciative to Je for providing me with the resources to achieve my fitness goals and, in the process, the ability to transform myself from within.

After earning my degrees, I started a self-made "health journey" that consisted of eating salads, hitting a daily step count, and trying to figure out an exercise routine. After a few weeks of trying on my own, I quickly learned that I had no idea what I was doing and needed professional assistance, so I had a consultation with Jé and joined Battle Fitness.Though I was apprehensive and overwhelmed at first, once I started talking and getting to know Jé, I knew the Body Transformation Journey was what I had been looking for! I realized that Jé knows exactly what she is doing, and I trusted her to guide me in the right direction - after over a year of working with her, she hasn't steered me wrong!I lost 5% body fat and 21 pounds on my first Body Transformation Journey, achieving my first goal! It made me feel more confident in myself, and I'm looking forward to achieving my future goals!I work with Jé online for my semi-private personal training and nutritional education and support. With the online training format, Jé can see everyone working out in real-time, which allows her to explain a specific move or critique form. It has also been a great way to meet other clients on their Journeys. The other clients are supportive, keep a positive and motivated attitude, and build a sense of community. Plus, the online format has allowed me to attend more personal training sessions while keeping a busy schedule with work and travel.I was also impressed by the online nutrition education that contained both readings and videos, an explanation of the processes with the scientific reasoning, and deadlines to make sure I stayed on track.I'm currently in the middle of my second Body Transformation Journey and plan for a third! I'm in it for the long haul, and though there are a lot of questions and emotions when thinking about future Journeys, I trust Jé to continue to guide me along the way!

Working with Jè has made me stronger, healthier, and more confident! Before working with Jè, I would scoff at people who “liked to work out.” Growing up, I was always on the heavier side however after the pandemic started and I became sedentary in my home all day, I knew I needed a change. As I started looking into working out I knew that for me I would need to work with a professional, and as an Indian woman, I was looking for a woman of color to work with. Going to a gym by myself with no experience would just set me up for failure. In my search, I was looking for someone who would not just look at my fat but my overall health and wellbeing. This search led me to Jè. After consulting with Jè and hearing how her Body Transformation Journeys work, I knew she would be a good fit. Jè balances compassion with accountability. Every session Jè is pushing me to do better and work hard. I signed up for live virtual personal training sessions online, and it has also been a tremendous help as well. No more excuses. No matter where I am I can log on and join my session. Jè also provides private one on one consulting to go over what is working, what is not, and how to continue doing better. Jè has an open heart and a great listening ear, but she also balances that with accountability. I have an extremely high-pressure job, and no matter what Jè has worked with me to succeed in and out of the studio. Jè’s plans are not one size fits all, they are tailored to the goals I personally want to hit, and they work. When I first started out I was over 200 pounds, and by the end of my first Size journey, I dropped 20 pounds and 5% body fat. I also can’t believe I’m typing this, but I turned into a person who “likes to work out!” I look forward to my sessions with Jè and the other Battle Fitness members. It’s time I use to decompress from my very busy schedule, work on myself and have fun along the way. I now join sessions around the holidays and even on vacation! I really cannot thank Jè enough for believing in me and pushing me to be a better version of myself every day.

I could not be happier with the results of my fitness journey with Je. I feel and look the FINEST I have ever been, dropping over 30lbs ,6% in body fat, and going from a size ten to a size six. I have never had more confidence and I am testing the levels of my sexy by wearing clothes I wouldn’t normally wear and showing more skin than I normally would. NO more one piece swimsuits for me.. You gonna get all this body… okayyyy?! Whats more telling is, I am excited to work with Je on another journey to build my muscle and curves and build the body of dreams, which I thought was unattainable until I began working with her and seeing my results from then to now. This has truly been a total lifestyle change where I feel better mentally, physically, and emotionally. Granted life happens sometimes, but at least I have had Battle Fitness in my corner to help keep me on track with prioritizing myself and workouts to know that I am stronger, physically and mentally and results I have attained are incredible.I was searching for a black owned trainer in my local area when I found Je. She was close by and had great reviews so I decided to book a consultation and I’m so happy I did. I’ve had a trainer in the past however, the difference is that Je incorporated a total lifestyle change that encompassed so much more than just workouts. I workout in small groups but each session is personalized to the individual and their goals. I am in the military and one of my main goals was to improve on my physical fitness assessments. I am so happy I surpassed my goal in rising from a “Good High” score to an “Excellent score where I am now exempt for taking my physical fitness assessments for the year. I have even been approached as taking on a role as the command fitness leader due to my score off excellent. Jé also takes it a step further with private 1:1 consulting where we discuss my body transformation progress, what may or may not be working and how to make adjustments for better results. Je has always listened to whatever I’m going through and did not let me fall short of my goals no matter how much resistance I gave thinking -“this was too hard,” or learning to balance my personal life to not get in the way of my goals. She made me feel like I could do this journey and truly supported me along the way.I appreciate you JE :)

I’ve learned throughout my Journey with Battle Fitness that I can do whatever I put my mind to! I joined the Battle Fitness family in the middle of the pandemic when I had gained a significant amount of weight and felt sluggish. I was looking for a program that could not only help me lose weight but would also help me with nutrition, workouts, overall healthy lifestyle changes and while searching on Instagram, I found that in Jé. During my initial consultation Je´ took the time to assess my physical strength, broke down how body fat works and inquired about my daily habits to help inform me how my body transformation journey would go, which is something other trainers I’ve worked with haven’t done.Starting my body transformation journey online was something I was a bit hesitant about initially. However, I’m glad that I started my journey online because that meant no matter where I was, I was able to train virtually. I did quite a bit of moving around in the pandemic and Jé was still able to train me wherever I was… Virginia, New York, California… I trained in living rooms, bedrooms, hallways, gyms…you name it! Jé catered my workouts to my current situation and made sure I got the most out of each session. No equipment was needed! I trained without weights for the first 4 months of my journey and was able to see incredible results in the way my body looked and how I felt inside. That is truly the beauty of Jé at Battle Fitness, being able to take a program that I thought I needed to be in person and bringing it online in a way that everyone felt that they were being paid attention to….no seriously Jé pays attention to every little detail during workouts so you know you can’t sneak in a break or miss out on a couple of reps. The semi-private personal training sessions feel like family; from wearing the same uniform, to each one of us showing up to our sessions challenging ourselves to reach a common goal!As someone who previously didn’t see fitness programs through, at first, I felt like I couldn’t do this, but Jé was always around to encourage me and explain that as long as I did what was recommended I’ll see results and she was right! I’m over 6 months into my journey, and I’ve learned so much about my body, nutrition. I’ve so lost so much belly fat, my butt lifted and is so much more defined and my core feels so much stronger! I’ve gotten many compliments on my progress! This is the most consistent I have ever been with fitness and I’m looking forward to reaching more of my body goals during this next journey with Jé!

After completing my first size journey, I have seen significant change in my physical appearance and energy levels! I signed up for Battle Fitness to get active and shed some pounds, gain muscle definition, and overall learn about what foods I should eat in order to achieve the body I want. Je helped me gain a flatter and tighter stomach, stronger and toned arms, and slimmer legs.The training that Je puts us through is fun! It is challenging but Je always pushes you to give it your all. Something I’ve for sure needed. The exercises that Je puts me through is catered to my goals and the body I want to achieve. Even though I wanted a flat stomach immediately after joining BF, Je reassured me we would get there, but first, it was about obtaining a symmetric appearance —something I didn’t even think of. I couldn’t be more happy.Also, the nutrition courses that Je has for us on the client center really help inform you about healthy eating and lifestyle choices. After making necessary changes to my diet I have seen great improvement to my appearance and mood.When I first started out I was at 163 pounds and by the end of my first Size journey, I dropped about 20 pounds and am 20% body fat now, where I was originally 26%.I am about to start my second body transformation journey with Je and I am so excited to see what type of training she puts me through! I can not wait to wear a bikini and not have any reservations whatsoever—and I’m not far off!
