Wonderful energy, responsive and friendly team, and workouts that have kept me healthy for the past 5+ years. So glad it’s here.

It’s a good workout but it’s not real barre. There’s maybe 5 mins spent on the actual barre. There’s a lot of jumping around and twisting your core muscles. I think people get hyped up with this kind of style, but you’re supposed to be doing workouts alongside the mirror or mat. There is too much crammed into one session. Pure Barre is just as bad. Enjoy it if you like to drink the Kool Aid.

barre3 Old Town is an amazing studio! Every time I walk in the door the staff members are all so friendly and professional. The studio is clean, bright, warm, and inviting. The workouts are killer but are also so gentle on my body. My heart rate is sky high during the whole class with the variety of movement and mix of cardio and strength. Yet this energizing total-body workout is always low-impact, which I need given some injuries. There are always multiple layers and modifications that can be taken for any individual. It truly is a workout for everyone!Led by Meredith and Lindsay, the instructors are all fantastic. They are great motivators and they know how to get the most out of you. There is a real mindfulness component to every class. I've had instructors at other places that have told us to channel our anger and rage into pushing harder. Fortunately that is NOT the philosophy here! At barre3, the motivation is intrinsic, and while workouts are intense, the atmosphere is one of joy, love, and support. They really understand what life and exercise are all about! They also have a wonderful play lounge for little ones. When I was trying to find a studio a year to join a year and a half ago, childcare was a must. They understand how important it is too. The free lockers and well-stocked showers are also wonderful perks. And I can't forget the awesome music!

This studio is the best! I've been coming for 3 years and it never stops challenging me. I love the format of Barre3 classes - and now during quarantine they have a huge variety of online and live classes (10 min, 30, and 40-50 min options). The instructors are all awesome, and Meredith and Lindsay have built a strong community.

Barre 3 Old Town is such a special place. I leave every class feeling super sweaty and lighter in mind and stronger in body! The teachers are fantastic and the community is really special. They make it super easy to get a challenging workout in (modified to all levels) and run straight to work after - as they have the best products and showers :) I truly can't say enough about this studio!

I started going to Barre3 in December 2017, right after my second child turned one. I'd been struggling for years with chronic back pain and when I walked into Barre3 for the first time, my core was weak, my back hurt all the time, and I had resigned myself to feeling injured, in some way, for the rest of my life. But in the two and a half years that I've been coming to Barre3, I've seen such a huge change in my body, from my posture to my core strength to my overall pain. I am stronger, less prone to injury, and I look forward to each workout. My chiropractor actually asked me what I'd done to remake my posture, and I told him Barre3, and he told me to keep doing it for the rest of my life. :)The Barre3 workout truly does balance out your body, and I love that it's adaptable to each individual body, each individual day. I was able to do the workout throughout my entire third pregnancy and did not experience any of the back pain and weakness I felt with my second pregnancy (when I was running and swimming and had never heard of Barre3). I also love that the workout includes mindfulness and breath-work. The Barre3 philosophy focuses on strength and adaptability, not bikini bodies or pushing through pain. I love it.What makes this studio so special, apart from the workout (which is, as I said, is SO GOOD), are the people. Meredith, Lindsay, and all of the instructors are warm, caring, and friendly. From the moment I started coming here, I felt welcomed into a community, and that feeling has only grown stronger over the last 2.5 years. Now that the studio is temporarily closed because of the pandemic, I especially miss seeing familiar faces and receiving hugs and high-fives in the studio. I've never gone to an exercise studio that has felt so welcoming. It's such a great place. Can't wait to go back as soon as we can gather again!

I love this place so much (and am missing it terribly right now during the pandemic!). Yes, barre3 is a great workout--I love that it incorporates a strong cardio component and larger movements in addition to the small ones barre as a discipline is known for. I always leave class drenched! It is also excellent cross training--I'm a runner and have not had any nagging running injuries since starting barre3 18 months ago. And it is strength training and is no joke. A few weeks ago, I was rear ended, and had to go to the ER to get checked for some back pain. The doctor commented on how strong I was and I started babbling about barre3...she probably thought I was crazy...it's fine. Equally as important to the physical workout, however, is the way barre3's philosophy makes you change the way you look at fitness as a way to be your best self holistically. They emphasize a strong mind-body component, which I've carried over to other aspects of my life and which has helped me deal with stress much better! The instructors also never make you feel bad about taking a modification--they present it as a way to get the workout *your body* needs that day, which is so empowering, especially in a town where we are all type A perfectionists ;) Finally, the community that Meredith and her team have cultivated is just wonderful. In sum, highly recommend barre3!

I love barre3 old town! I have tried pretty much every barre studio in town and this is by far THE BEST! I have also been to plenty of other barre3 studios (I’m so addicted I try to go even when traveling) and this studio is hands down my favorite. It’s a beautiful, spacious, sun-filled space, the teachers are incredible and play the best music, and I love the play lounge for my daughter so I can workout in peace. They also have super fun retail and frequently run fun events, challenges, and specials. And they have showers, towels, lockers, high-end products- everything you need to get ready for your day.

I've been going to Barre3 for three years now and love this studio! All of the teachers are so welcoming and offer a great mix of challenging yet fun classes. Meredith and Lindsay have created such a wonderful atmosphere at the studio that make you excited to come back. The online classes and live zoom sessions during social distancing have been an added bonus and a great way to feel connected from home!

Barre3 Old Town is the absolute best! The instructors are so welcoming and are all amazing. They are personable and always make you excited for and motivated to do your best! The workouts are great and different each time, I've been a member for a year and a half and I feel so much stronger and love the mindfullness piece at the end of each class. I couldn't recommend a better studio than old town!

Barre3 old town.. I don’t even have words to explain how amazing this community is! I started with this community right when they opened simply because I loved barre and it was close to my house. Immediately upon joining this studio I realized it was NOTHING like any barre class or community that I had experienced in the past. Meredith, Lindsay and all of the instructors/staff make you feel so comfortable and welcome to be there. Not only do I take barre classes for physical strength but also (if not more) for mental strength. These ladies, and this entire community have gotten me through so much (pregnancy, post-partum and global pandemic ? just to name a few!) I recently broke my foot but still join in on Sunday’s to listen to Lindsay’s breath work to keep me feeling positive and motivated. LOVE this studio! ?

The Barre3 Old Town staff/community is one of a kind! The workouts are amazing and the instructors are incredibly supportive. Sports were a part of my life through college & afterwards it took me a while to find a workout that had the intensity I was looking for, while also low impact. I haven’t felt this strong since college sports and it’s amazing! I can’t thank Meredith, Lindsay, & the entire B3 Old Town team for all they do for our community.

I've been taking classes at this studio for a few years. I'm not a member (doesn't make sense for me at this time) and I go about once a month. Every time I enter the studio, I'm immediately made to feel welcome and that this is a place for truly everyone to belong. The focus on strength, mental and physical, and sense of community leaves me feeling so empowered. I love this place and can't wait to get back into the studio!
