Babs and her team did phenomenal work throughout the entire process. Because of her and her team's efforts, we received an excellent offer on our home and went under contract just 1 day after going on the market. The entire transaction was incredibly smooth. Babs made excellent recommendations on how to prepare our home for listing, on appropriate listing price, and on contract negotiations. Babs Beckwith is the most experienced, knowledgeable and respected realtor in Old Town Alexandria. When we decided to sell our townhouse in Harborside, our neighbors all agreed that Babs is the best. She guided us through every step of the process. Babs has trusted contractors to help with anything needed to get the house ready for sale...electricians, painters, cleaners, staging, etc., and they were all quite effective. She was always ready to provide recommendations on every detail from colors of paint, type of flowers in the garden to the best temperature. We were impressed with the frequency of open house events and the high level of advertising and social media she employs. In addition to all this, she was always responsive answering every text message and voice call quickly. Based on our experience of selling a home, she has our highest recommendation.
