This American Legion saved Gadsby’s Tavern and also helped set up the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier of the American Revolution in the burial ground of the Old Presbyterian Meeting House. It is very historic and an awesome place for veterans as well as their families to enjoy. I am proud to be a member and love promoting the American Legion as often as I can. Keep up the great work!

Great spot here in historic Old Town Alexandria Virginia. The volunteers at the bar are always friendly and helpful. The prices are amazing and support the post. I find myself chatting with other patrons of the post more than any other bar pub etc. love it here!!!!!

American Legion Post 24 is one of the oldest legions in the country. They've done a nice job renovating the bar area. Nice new pool table. The only bad thing is the limited hours/days it's open. Love Taco Tuesdays at the Legion.

Sad very unwanted had 2 beer's on tap both empty. Older gent keep reminding people to wear mask but often ignored his own rules. Bartender kept taking pictures and videos of the party of active duty and retired guests like we were trouble makers. I see why vets stop joining these organizations.

Fantastic location in the heart of Old Town and friendly staff. This is truly a hidden treasure off Cameron Street in Alexandria with a fantastic, private outdoor courtyard, if you prefer to dine and drink outside. Catherine
