They moved my household. When I called to schedule delivery, they had no idea about my staff, this was pathetic and unprofessional.

Please do not make the mistake of filling out Allied's forms online for a quote. They will call you every day 2-3 times a day for weeks, even if you are looking to move in a year. I do not understand how any company thinks annoying and badgering potential clients to death every day is a great marketing strategy! I will not be using Allied for our move simply because of this! I don't mean this review to be an attack on this specific location---merely Allied company as a whole. Seriously, stop harrassing potential clients!

Do not hire Allied Van Lines or any of its affiliates. They will destroy all of your stuff and then do anything and everything they can to try to get out of taking responsibility. Trust me. If you want to destroy your belongings, just save yourself thousands of dollars and set your stuff on fire instead of paying Allied to destroy it for you. Listen to the people who have posted one star reviews. The scumbags in the claims department are extremely combative and rude. They try to make the process as difficult as possible so they wont have to take responsibility for their negligence. JUST STAY AWAY!

Your driver's are entitled assholes who cut off other drivers and are rude assholes when finally passed. On Fairfax County Parkway there were 3 people, not wearing seatbelts, and a ride female driver, heading towards Fair Lakes and just being an absolute nightmare of a driver. Your driver's ought to be trained and I will never use Allied for anything. I sincerely hope you lose business because your driver's are jerks and I am tired of dealing with entitled and rude driver's.

Moving across country is expensive but Allied was competitive in their prices.

Save yourself money and stress and just don't. All the negative reviews say it all. They can't provide an accurate estimate, and you'll pay almost twice as much. They'll leave stuff behind, they'll damage your belongings. Too bad, their counterparts in New England who finally delivered my stuff are good guys.

Would give zero stars if possible. I actually just called to get an estimate and decided to use a different company because the reviews for this company were so bad. I did not realize this before I called and I brought up the bad yelp reviews to Liz (the person I was connected to) and she just said, "okay, that's fine. Whatever". I would suggest going with a company that truly cares about customer service from the start. She just seemed very nonchalant about bringing in new business and trying to attain me as a customer. You should also know that you will not get a final price until they are done with your move. I think that's crazy because they can charge any price they want to in the end. All in all, my first impression of this company was not a positive one. I would suggest having individuals that answer your phones, be a little more polite and ready to gain new business. Also, giving prices upfront would be another strong suggestion. Update-Go anywhere else! I provided all of the answers to the questions that were asked. The minimal information that you are speaking of was the information that you requested. All in all, experience was awful. Luckily, there was a moving company, with spectacular customer service, that completed my move and earned their FIVE-STAR rating!

I've been thinking long and hard as to whether or not I should write a review, but if I can save someone else the frustration and anger that Reputation Movers caused, well then it's worth it. Without getting into too many details, the team that was assigned to move us was most definitely the "F" team. They complained that they couldn't move the truck closer to our unit, and even snapped at my husband complaining that "this wasn't what they signed up for." It was a hot day, and I watched in horror as they dropped sweat over the floors that I scrubbed clean the day before. Sweaty handprints were left on my furniture. I finally asked 1 of the guys if they had towels, and because they didn't, I started to hand out paper towels to try and stop their dripping. DISGUSTING!!! I've moved cross country and that move was so much better then this move of 5 blocks.

This is a review for Victory Van's records storage service, which was truly abysmal! If I could give them zero stars I would have. Terrible communication (we never knew what was going on, and repeated emails, phone calls, etc. went unanswered). Expensive and crappy service, and our records literally held hostage for money that our contract did not require us to pay them. They are extortionists. Employ Victory Van at your peril.

AVOID VICTORY VAN or ALLIED VAN LINES AT ALL COSTS!!!!!!!!!!! The absolute worst, most dishonest company I've ever dealt with in my life. First, perhaps the company should be upfront that some of their movers are convicted felons, some of whom have just been released from jail..... just days before our move. I believe in giving people a second chance, but the fact that we had thousands of dollars worth of artwork and rare furnishings stolen during the move does not speak well for one or more of Victory Van's employees. We had paid a $15,000 "good faith" deposit, with the remaining $24,000 due at the end of the move. A ridiculous price to begin with. As we experienced broken and missing items one after the other, we refused to pay the remainder of our invoice until we were reimbursed for a substantially large insurance claim on our part. Instead of having a company executive contact us as we'd requested for a month or more, they turned us over to their attorney. The fact was that whatever wasn't stolen was broken and we were never given the courtesy of being contacted by someone with authority. Perhaps at least an apology was in order. We still heard nothing. We'd opened one box after another only to find items smashed or broken. Parts of lamps were missing. Remote controls were placed in boxes that had nothing to do with their electronic equipment mates, rare breakable collectibles of all types were thrown in boxes and were smashed with no packing...and the list goes in. 23 boxes were missing, never to be found, the top to a $3600 table had been removed for some reason, and never included in the move, $3000 Art Deco side tables were stolen, 1 chair from a six chair dining room set was missing, several rare lithographs from the mid 1800's disappeared and the list goes on forever. But...The most disgusting thing was that the packer urinated in a plastic baggie, placed it in a medium large box and filled the rest of the box with packing paper. When I opened the box, I kept pulling out paper till I got to the bag. I was shocked and repulsed...We're talking absolutely disgusting & inexcusable. I was later told that it was chicken that must have dissolved and turned to liquid in the heat of the truck. Yea, sure.... A very helpful employee from the company was with me and witnessed a good deal of all that was going on. He was genuinely mortified and tried to go to bat for us at Victory Van but his attempts failed and fell upon deaf ears. All we can surmise is that no one at Victory Van cared. Nor did they at Allied Van Lines. Evidently the main packer didn't like us because it was a large home filled with an unusually large amount of collectibles and breakables that took about three days to pack. That's still no excuse. To this day, 2+ years later, we're still unpacking and still discovering more items and artwork missing but we were forced to sign a waiver on any further claims in order to receive a reluctantly agreed upon amount from their insurance. The reason for our signing was because you're given 9 months till your time to put in a claim expires. We were up against a wall. This was an extraordinarily upsetting experience that still haunts us. Remember, Victory Van is part of the Allied Van Line family who we also dealt with. One was as bad as the other and use either of them at your own risk. I will say that the head bookkeeper and the gentleman assigned to us were both wonderful. They tried to help us but to no avail. We did appreciate that they cared but were in no position to help.

They moved us when we purchased a new house. There a an issue with the closing on the new house and they offered to store our belongings in the moving truck for 10 days at a minimal cost to us. I'm not sure what we would have done if they didn't store our belongings for those 10 days and then moved us into our new house. You should call Pat and his crew.

HORRIBLE!!!!!!! We got placed with this company through a military move. They came a day later than they were supposed to, pushing back our move. They were rude and lazy. The female packer of the three was either flirting or on her phone the entire time. And after 10 hours they still weren't finished with the job. Which pushed back our move even more bc they had to return the next day. Fast forward and we didn't get a call from them until 2pm. TWOOOOO. And when they showed up, it ended up being a single person and a small VAN!!!! We walked her around to show her everything that was left behind. She looked us dead in the face and said she couldn't pack our vacuum?! Uh, no...figure it out bc you're packing it! Unbelievable. We are for sure contacting the liaison between military families and these movers to make sure this company is never used again.

I agree with the other negative reviews. None of the movers brought lunch or drinks for themselves. They were rude, taking constant cigarette breaks, and sluggish and complaining when Patrick wasn't there, which was often. Worst move ever.

Allied, Victory Van & Berger are a ripoff. I thought I said it all yesterday but I had to update my review these people are a crazy. I spoke to Stephanie yesterday who told me that the price was discounted and now they only wanted $23,000 (original total was $16K) then this afternoon after calling 3-4 times (to pay the $23k)with no answer Stephanie sends me an invoice that says $32,055.67 after I questioned that she said that is what it should have been but now the total is $24,0355. These people take advantage of people!!! Wow unbelievable!
