Absolutely do not recommend buying a car from here. They sold me a 2007 Honda Civic and within 1 week of driving it the engine started overheating. Took it to the shop and found out both the head gasket and engine block are damaged and will require thousands of dollars in repairs. They do not offer any sort of warranty, so it is my fault for purchasing the car from them but I was under the impression that they had evaluated the car and it wouldn't need thousands of dollars of repairs right out of the gate. This means they either scammed me and sold me the car knowing about the issues or whatever process they are using to evaluate cars before selling is not catching these costly issues. Either way, do not make the same mistake I did by giving this place your business.

My old car failed the annual safety inspection due to a rusted floor panel near the right rear door. I reached out to several places and VM Auto Body was one of two places that said they could do the work. They didn't have space when I stopped by, so I arranged to drop the car off a couple days later so they could get it up on a lift and get a proper estimate of the work to be done. Kimberly was very understanding and helpful.In the meantime, I stopped by another place and was quoted $600-800 based on the picture and description I provided. They put it up on the lift while I was there and told me they'd send me an estimate in the next couple days. I was floored to get a written estimate from them (the other shop) for $3.3k+!I returned to VM Auto Body and dropped my car off overnight. Kimberly got back to me with a couple of options, and I chose the "fix it right" option. They took a few days to do the work because they had to remove the fuel tank, drive axle, catalytic converter, and fuel lines, as well as cut out a good size chunk of the floor panel and replace it. When they were done, I drove it straight to the inspection station and passed with no issues. And, the best part - it was half the price of the other place at under $1.7k.Oh! And they gave the car a good cleaning inside and out! Unexpected perk but it made the 22yo car look and feel young again!TL;DR - Kimberly was great (understanding, sympathetic, accommodating), they did good work, and they were half the price of a nearby body shop. I definitely recommend.

I highly recommend VM Auto Body. They have completed two repairs for me this year. First, they did an excellent job repairing rear body damage on my car and also fixed another spot using paintless dent repair.The price was considerably lower than the other two estimates I received. My car was ready when it was promised. The work is flawless. Every interaction was friendly and professional and very efficient.I had to return for a second minor repair--bad luck--and my experience was 100% positive, just like my first visit. Great price (honestly, I didn't even bother to get another estimate) and perfect results, on time, with friendly and professional service.Excellent in every respect.

I've got to hand it to Kimberly and Vihelmo, they successfully exceeded my expectations. Here's the deal, I walk in seeking an estimate that I'd pay for cosmetic body work (usual street parking dings and scratches accumulated over several years). Kimberly's customer service is discrete and professional. She coordinated for the owner, Vihelmo, to provide what I thought was a very reasonable out-the-door estimate. This estimate was the same that I paid when all work was complete 5-days later.The body / paint / polish work and exterior / interior detail are excellent. The vehicle looks outstanding and what impressed me most is that the team took it upon themselves to even buff out my hazy headlights. Didn't ask them too, they took it of their own professional standards and also provided it complimentary. They are obviously very proud of their work, their work ethic in my opinion is above reproach and I am beyond impressed and satisfied. Dare I say it, but I enjoyed obtaining a quote and completing business with VM Auto Body. Their prompt and reasonable quote, timely quality work and their overall professional disposition earns my highest recommendation.

The newsletter attached to my recent auto insurance renewal stated three common statistics pertaining to the majority of claims:1). Most incidents occur within 5 miles of a primary residence2). Most incidents occur at speeds less than 15 miles per hour3). Most incidents occur when one of the vehicles is parked and/or stationary.Well I can tell you that all three of these statistics happened to me recently. I drove to my local GIANT Food to pick up some snacks for the NCAA tourney games, and when I came out, the front end of my driver's side bumper was badly smashed in. I could tell that someone took the turn into the spot next too me too tightly and "bam!", swiped the car. This rather inconsiderate driver didn't leave a note with name/phone number, insurance, etc. Someone also needs to explain to me how a driver hits a parked car; mind you, I'm one of those people who parks out 100-150 yards from any store entrance and away from other vehicles. I'll be the only person parked under a lone light pole, and yet inevitably when I leave the store, there will be 4-5 cars around me!Thankfully, Yelp directed me to VM Auto Body as they made the process to get my car repaired smooth and painless from start to finish. I submitted my estimate via their Yelp page and the office manager Kimberly contacted me within 15-20 minutes - now that's a RESPONSE TIME! After submitting some pictures and providing other information, I received quotes from a few other body shops, but VM Auto Body was the most reasonable. I stopped by their shop the same day so the owner Vihelmo, could perform a visual inspection and complete the quote.VM Auto Body works with all insurance, but I opted to pay out of pocket since my car is 10+ yrs old and I have a high deductible. I paid half of the price of the quote so the shop could buy the parts, and then was scheduled to pay the other half upon completion of the work. From the time I dropped off the car, Kimberly was providing timely updates. She let me know when the parts arrived so I could drop off the car, and also provided an accurate ETA of when the work would be finished. And how many days was that? I dropped the car off on a Thursday and it was ready for pick-up on a Monday. How's that for a quick turnaround?But just because the work was done in less than a week doesn't mean much, if the work isn't satisfactory. I wasn't just satisfied, I was very super happy with the work. Not only can a person not discern that the front end had been damaged, but they expertly blended the OEM paint color. VM Auto Body also buffed out my previously dingy headlights, washed the car with a high gloss finish, shined up my tires, and wiped down + vacuumed the interior. I almost don't want to tell folks about this place for fear it gets too popular, but owner Vihelmo has a strong customer focus and even mentioned to me while I was settling up the bill, that his aim is to "create customers for life." Mission accomplished with me. I never felt like I was getting price gouged and definitely got value for what I paid. And did I mention that the final total was $400 CHEAPER than the next closest body shop estimate?TIP: The place is a bit hidden, so look for the Marco Polo Rug Store from Rt. 236 (Duke Street) and it'll be located at the end of an alley way with the building address "3228" on top of a door. Their office is the left when you walk in.
