I use to love this place and stay here for years . Lately service has been terrible so I have been complaining . So tonight I decided to try them again and go stay with my Children . Something told me to call before I hit the road and pretty much because I made a accurate complain they told me they will not honor my reservation so I can't stay . This is bad for business . For your information I was in the parking lot and cancel because the lady at the front desk said YOU HAD NO rooms to accommodate me . Why lie ? I wish I could remember who was in front that day . Best of luck and God Bless . F. Williams Murillo

Horrible hotel and I wouldn't recommend ANYONE stay. They drill and start construction at 8 in the morning so loud you cant hear yourself think. The front desk is like a door knob with a phone. I woke up on 4 hours of sleep and couldnt because apparently the best time to start construction that's so loud it shakes the room is 8am on a Saturday. I wouldn't recommend a dead turtle stay here whatsoever. I will NEVER stay at this excuse of a hotel every again.

This place is right off the Beltway, so it's convenient. Unfortunately, it's not close to anything that you can walk to. Room was fine and the breakfast was ok. The gym was under construction, so I wasn't able to work out. Good if you just need to stay a few nights.

We have stayed at this hotel a number of times over the past several years. For the most part, we have enjoyed our stay and the hotel was clean, comfortable with a friendly staff. However, while visiting my 95 year old mother during last Christmas, the Ptac, air conditioning unit, in our room caught fire. We received a phone call from the fire department stating that our room was on fire. We lost a fair amount of personal items, but fortunately no-one was hurt. Fast forward five (5) weeks and we still are waiting on the hotel's insurance company to contact us. The hotel manager responds with not much helpful information. Five (5) weeks to handle a simple guest's loss.

Great find, Great Value This is a well kept property, perfect for an economy visit to VA and DC. The hotel has a free 6 minute shuttle to the VAN DORN Metro ( blue line ) which provides fast, comfortable service to DC ( seniors pay half price ). Housekeeping-- Very efficient and thorough . Room was maintained. Breakfast -- Very adequate and healthy, with many choices. Staff -- All " can do " with a smile. Emily, on front desk, was especially welcoming and professional in every aspect. Price --- a real deal, compared to DC prices. Bonus points -- Alexandria has a very charming down town. All good !

I wish I could say just how nice this place was....I hardly ever give a hotel five stars. I mean, hotels are just ...hard. So much to get right to get a five...bed has to be comfy, towels fluffy, amenities nice, staff good... But this place...let's begin at the beginning, which for us was about 3:30 am. I was so tired. We overstayed our time in Kentucky and ended up coming in about 6 hours later than I assumed we would be. My hubby was cranky, I was barely walking at this point from road soreness. The gentleman at night check in was understanding, kind and very helpful. He helped us in every way he could. Even asked did we need help with the bags. The room was lovely. Bed was great, there were some hidden spaces to put bags too. Loved it. We asked for extra towels the next morning, and when we did, this was noted. EVERY DAY AFTER THEY PUT EXTRA TOWELS IN THE ROOM. Who does that? The rooms were so clean, the bed (and I was hit by a car on my bicycle...I am handicapped but walking ...barely sometimes, so I am picky about my beds) were GREAT. Every time we went downstairs we were greeted sweetly and they are just so so so amazing. This morning, we checked out, but even at breakfast, we were again pleasantly surprised by Kiera, who gave us not only great service, but helped me navigate the waffle maker, asking if she could help me find anything...wow. I have never been treated this way in a discount hotel...something not costing more than my car payment. Stay here. You are going to be pleased.

I will admit it, I was looking for a less expensive way to visit DC, and the Comfort Inn was far less expensive than most of the other hotels we found. It also offered a breakfast buffet, which I find a worthwhile convenience. So that alone makes it a four star value. Then when I called, the front desk people were beyond helpful. I mentioned the free shuttle that they offer to the train station, and they warned me that their shuttle now runs to a bus shuttle through the summer, while the Metro station platforms are being repaired. So we took Uber, but even so, for a clean, nice room with new fridge and microwave, and helpful friendly staff..definitely great value. My only complaint was erratic WiFi in the room, but I would go back. Hopefully next time the metro will be running.

We stayed here three nights during a trip to DC. This hotel is at a really weird location off the highway, so you better make sure you are aware of where you need to turn or else you'll miss it! Checking in was a breeze. The front desk was pleasant and very helpful with our questions regarding accessing the metro. Our room was decent- really nothing to write home about, but it was clean! The downside was that it felt pretty humid no matter what we did with the air :( They have a nice sized breakfast area which was actually in a separate room. Typically continental breakfasts are in an open area near the lobby, but theirs is slightly removed behind doors. There is also additional seating outside! Pretty cool. If you're looking for a good/safe hotel, this is a good choice for you and your family.
