I can't speak highly enough about The Merit School! Ms. Farida, the director, is truly outstanding and sets a very positive tone for the school. Our 4-year old daughter absolutely adores her teachers, Ms. Ramya and Ms. Tamara. They're incredibly dedicated and always ensure she's thriving. As for our 1-year-old son, he recently started, and Ms. Vaunda, Ms. Safaa, Ms. Emily and Ms. Maryana all have made the transition so easy and seamless. Also, their commitment to involving parents (and even grandparents) in various activities make us feel even more included. Their genuine care and accommodation for our children is amazing. Additional shout outs to Ms. Abeer, Mr. Richard, Ms. Patricia and Ms. Arezo. Highly recommend!

I cannot say enough good things about this facility. My 2-year-old grandson has been attending this amazing daycare for over a year now and he loves it. We get daily photos & updates of his activities (which are frequent and varied), and there is excellent communication from the staff. The facility is very clean and very organized. It is also in a great location. Honestly, I cannot think of one thing they need to improve on. I highly recommend it!

We’ve been attending Merit @Kirkpatrick for 3 years now and we absolutely love it! Teachers are amazing and there is a low turnover, most teachers have worked here for many years and know every child well. Merit Summer Camps are great as well, there is a pool with the slide, which kids absolutely love. School also offers swim lessons, dance lessons, and other sports. Merit became like family to us throughout the years!

We have had a great experience at Merit School at Kirkpatrick over the last couple years! Our daughter absolutely loves all of her teachers (Ms. Arezo, Ms. Abeer, Ms. Emily, Ms. Ramya & Mr. Richard!!) and she could not feel more comfortable going there every day! She has learned so much and really enjoys each day (& runs to class sometimes!) Nothing makes us feel better knowing how happy and comfortable she feels during the work week. The new Director, Ms. Farida, is so great and has really gone above and beyond to enhance the kids’ and parents’ experience - she planned such a fun summer camp and it’s clear she wants to make this school so great for everyone. She is so great for the school and we’re lucky to have her! Highly recommend this school.

We have twin daughters they were going to another day care before but they are not happy over there so we moved them to Merit school Aldie branch almost over a year now since they moved here they both are so happy and we can see huge change in there daily activities.They learn a lot of new things every day.All administrative staff and teachers are nice and very friendly but Ms Christine & Ms Arzo they are excellent they teach our daughters something new on daily basis and big thanks to Director Ms Farida she is exceptional very helpful, friendly organized and keep us posted about our kids activities on regular basis. Thank you once again to all staff of Merit school you guys are awesome and doing an excellent job to keep our children's safe and happy while they were in school.

All The merit school staff Ms farida Mohammad miss Abeer and all other offer a friendly , caring approach to looking after my daughter. The staff were patient, flexible and always willing to take the time to chat about the child's day at pick-up time. The day seemed to be structured perfectly with a good balance of free play and lesson time.

Ever since I was a child, I’ve bouncing from a childcare center to another. I first came to the Merit school (formally Minnieland) as a school ager. I absolutely love it. When I was ready to get my first job, my first instinct was to come to the Merit school. I’ve been working here for a little more than a year now, I love working here and seeing children smile everyday.

When my two children were 4 and 2 years old, I started working at Merit School, where they were also enrolled. My experience working there was excellent for three years because I could trust the staff and share any concerns I had. The teachers were experienced, loving, and caring, and I knew my kids were in good hands. Even though we faced challenges such as school closures during COVID-19, we grew together as a team. Currently, I work for Loudoun County Public Schools, but my kids are still part of the Merit School community for in-school and after-school care. I am grateful for my experience as both a former staff member and a parent of two children at Merit School. Thank you, Merit School!

We love The Merit School Learning Center at Kirkpatrick and are so glad we picked such a great daycare for our little one! The teachers are wonderful and we've had no issues. It's so comforting knowing my baby is in such good hands while I'm at work during the day!!

Our son has been going here for almost 2 years now, and we could not be more thrilled. The teachers and staff are so engaging with him and us. He is truly thriving under their care and guidance every day. This school is helping us to grow a strong, independent, smart boy who is happy and loving. The other children and parents all know each other and it is a great community of people. We are so thankful to be a part of it.

My son has been attending The Merit School for the past 18 mos. and we are ecstatic at the quality of care, engagement with the teachers, and their effort to share his daily adventures with us via the app. Additionally, the school events (Halloween, school pictures, etc.) are well organized and fun for the kiddos and we love seeing him interacting with his peers. Lastly, management has been receptive to complaints and feedback about policies during COVID and we were greatly impressed. I know there are a lot of daycares in the area, but Merit School is worth serious consideration.

My son has been at this school since he was a baby, and now a toddler. We LOVE the staff, the classrooms, and all the love we get from Minnieland. I have worked at many day cares before so I was really picky about what I wanted for my son, and Minnieland Kirkpatrick was it! We have loved this school pre-covid, and even through the pandemic. They have been extremely reliable, effective and clean. They have really taken off the stress of sending my child to school during these uncertain times. I highly recommend!
