“My husband and I are moving up that way from Charleston, S.C. and as a precaution, I called to double check on the unit we reserved online. When I called, I spoke with what might be a living angel on Earth named Janet!
I've never met Ms. Janet, let alone ever even spoken to her before this afternoon and yet she treated me better than a customer, she treated me like family. To be honest, there aren't enough words in the dictionary to describe how kind, patient, and helpful she was. She directed us through the paperwork, sent everything promptly over via e-mail, and went above and beyond to be accommodating. She even got creative in helping us with some tech issues we were having! She is exceptionally proficient with her work and thinks outside of the box to help her customers every way she can, even when those customers are 6+ hours away and on the phone!
She made sure that the contracts, payment, and instructions were all easily sent, received, signed, and confirmed back on her end... all without a hitch.
We truly can't wait to meet her. I might just give her a hug! We've never made a big move like this but she put us so at ease. Ms. Janet is a tremendous asset to A-1.
You know, we're leaving our home state because the Southern Charm in S.C. is long gone and we had been hoping to find that feeling of "home" somewhere else. We chose VA because it feels right and honestly, Ms. Janet completely reaffirms our decision. She is the epitome of compassion and hospitality.

“Honestly amazing. Nice location where it doesn't feel like it's hard to get in and out of, spacious units, and if you ever have an issue or question their customer service is amazing!
I had to make a call and outside of their round the clock service being great, so was Maria who answered and was so kind to me while helping answer my questions!”

“The owner is very friendly down home type of guy that is in his 80s. I have à unit rented here and was given a good deal as compared to Bolt storage that bought up a lot of storage units and then jacked the prices up in their sneaky way. The owner of Abingdon Large and small storage didn't sell out to the greedy New York people of the likes of Bolt storage. If this place has anything open I'm sure he will give you a good price for a unit.”
