The pay is good Eddie Pennington you can’t work three hours a day and go home because your big toe hurts and expect to make $1000 a week That’s why they can’t afford to pay yearly so sorry drivers like you would break a company on top of that the band truck and they have to come and recover it because you’re too sorry to bring it back to the yard like a man just saying everyone at KND are excellent people to work for they treat you with respect and like family you will never find no nicer people for

One of your drivers tried to push my vehicle off the road on I-4 today December 15, 2020 at 2:00pm by cutting over into my lane because they didn't want to stay behind slower traffic. Is that really how you manage your drivers?

Ever heard of to many chiefs? If unloading a load and waiting forever to get an answer for your next load is ok. This is the place for you. You may wait two hours to find out your next load. They are great people. You won't make good money. They have more employees than loads. It's a cluster of mismanagement and disorganization. You will call for a load he don't answer the phone. They are great people. They just needs a manager and loads. The trucking industry is full of loads and they don't have them. They hire more people than they have freight. If they really like you you will get the best paying loads. Nepotism and favoritism is here. Not your normal trucking company. As for equipment.... most of its wrecked. They will hire anyone. If sitting and waiting to find out your load for hours with no pay. This is the job for yiu. Eric is MIA most of the time. Who runs a company and has drivers on the road andndoesnt answer the phone? Keep in mind this is for your next load. Eric is the only one that does the loads. It's on his time. They don't care that you sit unpaid for hours. I'm amazed at the positive reviews. I'm in to make money. Some are not. If $300-$500 a week is ok. You will enjoy it here. Some of the loads will pay you $55. Maybe it was ran well when dad ran it. If you can drive the long way to pass scales so you are not busted. Or lie on a lot sheet (if your not on elog.) This place will crumble.
These reviews cannot be previous employees. Unless they have no drive or ambition.
You will notice when a business gives you a check for your load to take to the shop. Pay attention to the amount. Your payroll amount won't add up. If the check to K&D is $600. On your payroll sheet it will show $500. You get 25% of the $500 not the $600. Pay attention and ask how much the load pays. drivers talk amongst themselves they know they are not getting 25% like promised.
It is poorly ran. I doubt any of then have any idea how to manage. You cannot get a truck and trailer in the shop. It's so small. They need to sell it and let someone that knows how to dispatch and run a business buy it. Eric is a nice guy. But he is not a dispatcher. The office will tell you to talk to Eric about your load. Good luck because Eric won't answer his phone or texts. Good luck to your career.

Awesome family run business! Great equipment and mechanic! They treat you like family and your paycheck depends on how hard you work. I plan on staying for years!
