Our personal trailers axel broke as we were traveling through the state of Virginia. Double L Auto Care was very accommodating at getting us a uhaul trailer very quickly and helped with disposing of our old trailer. Super kind people, very personable. Would highly recommend. We give them 10 out of 5 stars!

This garage is great! And the people who own it are truly awesome!!! I had a Honda Civic that had a back wheel that locked up completely, with no way to move it (among other problems). It wound up stuck on the side of the road right across the highway from Double L, which I'd never even noticed was there. At the time I was strapped for cash to even get the car towed to a garage, much less pay for the diagnostic exam or repairs. So I decided to try to find out which garage in town was located closest to where the car was stuck, hoping to save on the tow bill. Luckily I discovered Double L was just right across the road. I called and explained the problem, and the owner, Shannon, told me that if only one wheel was locked up then i should be able to get the car across the highway to him myself- but if not, he said he had a rollback and would be happy to go grab it for me at no charge since it was so close by! I got it over there (destroying the locked up tire in the process, lol) and Shannon did the diagnostic for only $50, including checking out the brakes, rotors, fluids, exhaust, everything! The locked up wheel turned out to be caused by a stuck brake pad, of all things! He was able to correct that (also at no charge!) and get me a good new tire for $70. He also offered to do my back brake job at a much more affordable price than any other garage had quoted me. And he advised me as to which of the other problems with the car need to be fixed next and in what order, in order to make it safely driveable until i can afford to take care of all the repairs in full. Not only did he do all this and really go the extra mile for me, he and his family were the nicest, most kind and helpful people I've met in quite awhile! His wife, Teresa, owns an awesome clothing and specialty boutique called Simple Style that's located in a small building next to the garage. I had the pleasure of meeting her and discovering her cute little shop, which is stocked with high quality, extremely fashionable women's clothing at pretty affordable prices! And it was all the kind of stuff that you just can't find at many other stores selling women's clothing locally! On top of all this, once they found out I was looking for a good church to attend, Shannon and Teresa were kind enough to give me alot of information and recommendations about many different local churches and pastors for me to consider trying out!!! It was all just an awesome experience, and I will definitely be back for all my future car repairs, as well as alot of clothes shopping!!! On a final note, I checked out their Facebook page and was blown away by the continual posts they put up on there giving praise and glory to God, and quoting the Good Book!!! I knew when I saw what Godly people they were that I had definitely come to the right place, and I will continue coming here as long as they're in business! I can't possibly recommend Double L Garage and Simple Style Boutique any more highly! So please go support two wonderful, local small businesses and their lovely owners!!! Check them out, I promise you won't be disappointed!!! Thanks again to Shannon and Teresa Lester!!!

Excellent facility to take your vehicle to for repair or regular maintenance work. This is the kind of shop you'll want to turn into your regular mechanic. The owner takes wonderful care of your vehicle and treats you respectfully. I'll be back for sure. Hidden gem of the area.
