Went by and had 100 pound tank filled for less than $60 dollars. Can not beat that price. Mr. Denton was very nice and did not take long at all to get completed. Will definitely return.

I went to get propane and the woman working was sitting in the office smoking cigarettes and told me to wait so she could finish. All she did was complain about her boss/owner and was the most unprofessional person I've ever had to deal with. I would not recommend this place what so ever.

I have been using this company since they opened to refill 20 lb. tanks once per month for my gas stove as a bigger tank cannot be used. They have always been friendly and available. Also best price around. Not sure what the other review was about but I'm sure there was a good reason. Sounds like an important phone call and this business has a door that's visible and all you have to do is walk in, a bell rings and either someone is there in the outer office or they come out. When I have used them you dont have to lift a finger. They get your tanks out and exchange and will even take your debit card in and bring you a receipt out. When I was hooking up my gas stove they helped me by answering questions I had on running a safe gas line into my kitchen.

I went to this business at around 11 am to get a propane tank exchanged. The gate was opened but there did not seem to be anyone around. I knocked on the door. Nothing. I honked my horn. Nothing. I never once saw a human except me on the premises. I called on my cell and got a message telling me they were on another line and to leave a message, so I did. I never got a call back. There is a sign on their gate saying "Compare Price with Walmart" and a $13.99 price. Well I ended up at Walmart and their price was about .25 cents more, but there were there when I needed them and they loaded the tank in my car. For a quarter, Abingdon Propane got their chance for my business and they will not get another.
