Noteworthy details: Comfortable beds, fun artwork. A cool take on the old roadside motel.

We stayed in Sleep Woodstock for one night while in Vermont. This was a quaint little motel but very clean and spacious. The room we stayed in was a pet friendly room and decorated with several pictures. The little fridge in the room was a cute touch and reminded me of the 50’s . An additional touch was the assortment of coffee and creamer. The big bonus for me was the bed. A king with the most comfortable mattress that I’ve slept on in some time. I reached out nearly a week later to find out what mattress was on the bed and was notified within minutes with a picture of the label. We were very happy with our stay at Sleep Woodstock.
Nearby activities: We were in the area looking for covered bridges

Loved this roadside motel. We got the two-story suite for our family of five, and it was a great place to rest for a night during our road trip. Everyone had room to stretch out and having 2+ bathrooms was very helpful. The decor was fun and quirky, and I enjoyed just looking at things in the rooms. Though we didn't really use it, the kitchen was nicely equipped. Our only real issue was needing to call for our door code. We made our reservation through Alaska Airlines, and apparently their phone number got listed as a contact rather than our phone number. The issue was quickly remedied though. It was a short stroll to breakfast at the cafe next door. I would've enjoyed a longer stay at this motel.

I love that it is self check in, clean rooms, decorated very comfortably and pet friendly. Couldn't be more perfect for how my family and pets travel. The owner/manager was very helpful to my husband. Even when we made the mistake of not marking we needed an airmatress for our son when booking (really nice air mattress too btw. I thought it was a regular bed when blown up. I wish they had these everywhere when doing family road trips. Thank you very much. Highly recommend.
Friendly note to travelers: If you come in late, there is no food or anything open so be prepared. There was a citgo a few miles past that had food and treats (Citgo) that was open until 10pm so we got lucky. Not a complaint at all, just a heads up. ? Going to breakfast at diner next door, can't wait!
Rooms: Bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was stocked with nice toiletries, etc. Very happy with out choice. Even the set up outside is comfortable with tables and chairs for you to look out at the scenery. LOVE it

Do not stay here. There is mold and toilet leaks. Water got all over our belongings. We got sick due to the lack of cleanliness. Couldn’t walk around without shoes since leak was everywhere. Let host know and they were aware already but did not do anything. Also further from downtown. Save your money

I much prefer motels to hotels. Why drag all my luggage through the lobby by the front desk? Wait for the elevator and then down the hall when I can just park a few feet from the room entrance? The problem is motels usually aren't as nice and clean as franchise hotels. This place is an exception, in fact, it's quite exceptional. Very charming, very clean, and it had everything we needed. We bought several Vermont cheeses and we were able to put together a late night charcuterie board using their cutting board and their sharp knife. They are dog friendly and they don't charge an extra fee like most "pet friendly" places do.

Wonderful stay that suited our needs! Hard to believe this was a 'motel' with such attention to detail and was clean and comfortable and quiet. Great to have easy access parking out front.
The manager Andrew so kindly made conversation and actually picked us up some amenities to make the most of our bonfire that night. Went out of his way to ensure we were fully taken care of!
Short drive to the Skinny Pancake, the gorge, and shopping as well as the beautiful town of Woodstock. I have to mention the breakfast spot next door exceeded expectations, and we will certainly return there again for a bite on our next stop by Woodstock area!

We were extremely impressed with the Sleep Woodstock Motel! If you get the chance- you need to book this place! Rooms were spacious and super clean, and the bed was extremely comfortable. Room had a fully stocked coffee bar; bathroom had plenty of towels, shampoo, conditioner, and lotion. Each room also has a retro mini fridge with a freezer, microwave, and coffeemaker. There is also a small eating area inside the room, and a table and chairs to sit outside your room on the patio. The room is self check-in with a code- so no keys to hassle with. It is located right next door to a wonderful breakfast and lunch cafe. Staff was very friendly and professional and room rate was very reasonable! We would definitely stay here again!

Nicely appointed rooms. Great location and friendly staff. Really enjoyed out stay. Cant wait to come back in the Fall. They even offer discounts to local restaurants. Highly recommend.
Rooms: Rooms were perfect. Especially since we brought out dogs with us. Spacious, clean, just enough amenities. Beds were so comfy. Great choice!
Safety: They offer keyless entry. They send you a code to use on the door. No more fumbling with the room keys. Great feature. Felt very safe.

Wonderfully remodeled 60’s era roadside motel, tastefully redone with modern amenities and an uber friendly management (thanks Andrew!!), attentive staff (left an important item behind on leaving and they immediately contacted us after departure), and adjacent to great breakfast/lunch restaurant. The fire pit is a nice place to chill out and chat with other travelers, and the proximity to downtown Woodstock and other areas of interest nearby make this a great (and far less expensive) stay elsewhere in town.
Road noise outside is negligible and not readily heard from rooms, especially with a tv, or air conditioner on.
Found the bed (king size), very comfy, and appliances (well stocked coffee maker) excellent for short stay, as well as tasteful in decore.
Check it out!

We were honestly a little schecky about the booking process and the fact that it seems to be owners in Hawaii.
We were wrong. Booked about 6 months prior for 1 single night while attending a wedding. The room was wonderful, clean beautifully decorated, coffee ect. We were super late checking in due to the wedding, but they emailed to make sure we were still coming. Easy check in with the room code. Breakfast diner next door 10/10

It's easy to write a 5 star review for the Sleep Woodstock Motel. I travel solo with my dog and am often given the rooms that are a bit worn. However, my room at the Sleep Woodstock was the opposite. It was probably one of the nicer rooms I've had with or without my dog at a motel. My dog also enjoyed himself immensely. They provided him a nice soft blanket to sleep on, and I put a sheet of my own on the bed if he wanted to share it with me. The staff was absolutely lovely, my texts were answered immediately, and there is a yummy breakfast/lunch/ice cream place right next door. I will definitely try out their other properties in my travels.
Rooms: The rooms were clean, and looked newly renovated. There was a microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker with an assortment of teas and coffees.

In the description they say kitchenette, but it’s just microwave, fridge and coffee machine. I booked thinking there is a kitchenette. It’s overly pricey. The room is good, location is great though.
Safety: Very safe
