I didn't go upstairs but it seems like the kind of bookstore you go to if you're looking for a 1st edition or a signed copy - mostly older stuff. The gentlemen working there was very nice.

A very unique experience. The owner was very cool and helpful, not pushy at all but very supportive. The setup is not like anything I’ve ever seen before...it’s basically a house converted into a store. So many unique books and options I’ve not seen elsewhere. You can tell a lot of thought and love went into it.

Amazing place and the owner is so easy going. A few months ago we went to the bookstore down the street and it was a huge waste of time. Walked down the road and found this gem and we were so happy. I just called, Sonny was insanely helpful and is shipping me my book tomorrow. Such a great experience

Pros: Great variety. Lots of books in a small space. Owner very personable.Cons: Books on the floor make it harder to shop. Owners desk makes it awkward to get upstairs while he is sitting there.Prices were pretty reasonable...will be back.

My husband and I were visiting Woodstock; I really love gems like this bookstore. And love books. It’s a magical place inside and the owner is lovely. I’m already halfway the book I purchased yesterday. Thank you for opening up such a lovely store!

I wish I knew what the inside looks like, but this place is N E V E R open!!! We called and asked if they’d be open the next day, they said yes so we drove there and guess what? It was closed. We wasted our time and gas.

This was an eclectic little bookstore with a great selection of rare books.There were ample quantities of hundreds of authors including Dickens, Twain and Hemingway. The shop owner was very engaging and made the experience very pleasant.

Great used book store set back right in the center of Woodstock. Huge art history section on your immediate left. Up stairs you'll find a large selection of African American and Native American studies: larger sections than I've seen at many other book stores in Vermont.

This store has a wonderful collection of rare and antique books as well as newer used books. The owner is very helpful and friendly and we will surely be back. I found a 19th ct. German-American Bible that I will treasure forever.
