Great local shop with affordable prices. I've brought multiple vehicles here for inspections and some minor work. From setting up an appointment, to dropping off my vehicle, and then picking it up has been smooth each time. The guys are up front with what needs to be fixed and they provide reasonable estimates with quick turnaround.

Steve always treats me fair and gives me the best prices. Its refreshing knowing I have a mechanic I can trust. Sometimes I ask him to do multiple things for my older car and he is always willing to take a look and get it done

Scheduled an appointment to have my snows mounted/balanced and do an inspection, I had to adjust my appointment twice because of my schedule and they were understanding and flexible. The work was done when they said it would be at a fair price, I'm very happy with things.

Running to look for a car and everybody seem very pleasant and the prices are a little too high for me though. Just my opinion. :)

My go-to mechanics for ten years now. Great service, fair prices. It's good to have a place to trust when you're as hard on cars as I am.

When you fork over $6500 for a car with only 47k on it, I would expect to drive further than 300 miles before the camshaft gear and timing chain crapped out. Now I'm stuck paying $900 to get it repaired. Now I know why he wouldn't budge a bit give a 30 day warranty. Steve wasn't willing to offer any assistance, sorry it was sold as is. This, after he told me if for some reason something major happens to let him know. Sometimes honest mistakes happen in business, It would have been nicer to have come up with some sort of compromise to end up having a satisfied customer. True, the car had several oil changes throughout it's 47k miles, however, you did the last one on it. Toyota dealership said the cam gear teeth were all chipped up from an oil change mishap which bent down the oil splash baffle in the valve cover enough to make slight contact on the cam gear. The damage would have happened very quickly within a couple hundred miles and triggered an error code on the computer. You said that the computer had no codes showing up when you inspected the car so it's likely that the oil baffle could have been unintentionally bend during the oil change you did prior to us buying the car. The P0012 code came on 300 miles after leaving your shop. This took a few weeks as my daughter was only putting on abt 80 mile a week. I cleared the code, she drove several more weeks and it triggered again, same code. I replaced the VVT cam sensor which the code referred to. It took abt 3 more weeks for my dau to rack up 400 miles and the same code came up again. Yes the car is 14yrs old but very low mileage and almost show room condition. I had the car fixed, it's running fine now. It didn't break my bank account and it really isn't so much the money. Like I said earlier, sometimes honest mistakes and mishaps can happen in business. My dau had put on 1300 miles by the time I contacted you, it took that long to diagnose the problem which started out at the 300 mile mark. When I called, I was only trying to see if you would be willing to help out on this, not stick you with the whole 900 bill.
