I have been searching for a great curly hairdresser for months and finally found one! Cailyne is the best! She listens to what you want and need for your curls and the results are amazing! My curls have so much life back. I recommend her to anyone seeking a top notch curly hair cut in the area! 100/10!

Cailyne is a curly hair queen! Thankful to have found my new hair stylist after searching for a couple of years! She was patient, she listened and she gave great feedback and great conversation during my appt! Growing up mix raced can make it difficult to find someone who knows how to help you with your hair, especially when you live in mostly Caucasian areas. Cailyne really understands how devastating it can be to have a bad hair cut and really made me feel comfortable giving her freedom over the shape of my hair. The bottom part of the back of my hair was bulky and out of place from all the people who tried to layer my hair as you would straight hair. It was natural for her to want to rid of it, but before she even touched it she asked me about it as if to see if I had any qualms with her going at it(which I definitely didn't mind at all). She's very personable, delightful and efficient. I don't think I've ever had a hair cut that took such little time but turned out so fantastically well. While most salons would have charged me over a hundred dollars just to look at my hair she quoted me a very reasonable $57 but charged me $45 because it took less time. I would definitely recommend her for anyone looking for a good cut for their curly hair.

My hair stylist is Cayline ( I hope I spelled her name correctly ). It was my first time seeing her since she made the move and it was a little hard to find but in a very eclectic area cool vibe the building has a alot of charm and there is plenty of parking

Since moving to Vermont I have been searching for a hair stylist who understands my hair and has experience cutting Black hair. I've had my hair totally messed up by other local salons, have had not the best experiences waiting in line at barber shops, and had resorted to wearing hats and trying my best to maintain my hair myself. All that changed when a friend of mine recommended Maggie @ Atlas to me. Maggie is Deva certified so you can trust that she knows what she's doing with your curls. Honestly, my cut with Maggie was the best and least stressful hair-experience of my life. I've never been able to relax into a cut because I've never trusted someone with my head. Maggie knows exactly what she's doing and I felt confident in letting her be creative. She's also very skilled with clippers! More so than any barber I've been to. I'm SO happy with my cut and will absolutely be back. The studio space is cozy and incredibly cute and inclusive. It's located off the Winooski circle, right behind Scout. The easiest walk from my house. Based on my own experience, the space is queer and trans friendly. Would highly recommend this place to anyone but especially to folks of color and also queer and trans folks who are looking for an inclusive space and creative stylists.
