Winhall Market is a country store and deli close to Stratton, popular for skiers and foliage visitors. It offers a surprising amount of goods and a good selection. The friendly staff makes food in house, including donuts, cookies, and outstanding sandwiches. Favorites include the ham, egg, and cheese, the steak chili, and the steak and cheese grinder called "The Kitchen Sink," noted for prime ingredients and excellent flavor. The place can be a little busy. Some find the additional deli fee and credit card processing fee annoying. It is a great place to stop for a bite and is recommended for a return visit.
I stopped in on Saturday on my way way to Stratton for a ham, egg and cheese sandwich..... with an extra egg for a nominal fee and it was outstanding. Kept me skiing all day. I was in such a hurry to get to the mountain I grabbed my sandwich and left and forgot to leave a tip so I'll catch up next time. Thanks!

Epic. They make their donuts and cookies in house... got there at 7:40 and the donuts had just come out of the oven jar steaming and all... so you know i had to try and it was excellent. Thin crisp layer. Excellent chew and love the flavour of the dough, old fashioned but not plain. Love it

Took the wife and the bike into this area for some foliage 🌿 peeping. The country store was a great place to stop, stretch our legs and get a bite to eat.
