Bed was super comfortable! Charlie was very friendly and helpful. The driveway and parking lot is a little hard to navigate, but plenty of parking. The room was clean. Overall good stay, could hear people in the hall, but overall people very consolidate and quiet. We had gone to bed early after a long day of skiing. Cookies were delicious!

This was like staying with family. Charlie made every effort to make us feel welcome. The apple cinnamon pancakes were the best I’ve ever eaten!

My wife and I stayed here on the night of Sept. 20th 2023. I wasn't sure what to expect when we booked the room. When we arrived Charlie met us and showed us around. He recommended some sites to explore and a few options for dinner. The whole establishment was very clean. Our room was larger than I expected. It was also very clean. The bed was comfortable.Megan made us breakfast in the morning. We saw her go outside and pick herbs for our eggs! This was a terrific place to stay! We very much enjoyed the experience.Noteworthy details: You could tell that both owners run a quality inn.

Earlier in the week I drove through Wilmington and noticed the Inn. I decided to stay there on my way back and I am glad I did. It's more than just a place to spend the night. It's walkable to the entire town. My only regret is that I arrived too late to visit any of the nearby shops. Will return in the future for a longer visit.

We absolutely loved this quintessential Vermont inn! We can’t say enough about the delightful inn keepers…Megan and Charlie. They could not have been more helpful. When you are there with them you feel like you are a part of their family. And the complimentary breakfast…amazing!!Rooms: Rooms are comfortable, very clean and historically furnished.Walkability: There are several restaurants easily within walking distance as well as hiking trails and quaint shops.

This was our first stay @ Wilmington. It won't be the last. Every year we go to The Marlboro Music Festival. Next year, it will be my job to get our reservation early. The grounds, prepared for a wedding; the breakfast; the personable exchanges we had with everyone, made it a wonderful experience.

We have been staying at this Inn for several years now, sometimes twice a year, including holding family celebrations, and we love it! Charlie and Megan are wonderful hosts, the property is gorgeous, the breakfasts are delicious, and the location within walking distance of the charming town of Wilmington is very convenient for eating and shopping. Also an easy ride to the Marlboro Music Festival. Absolutely fabulous choice for a holiday!

This is definitely the place to stay in Wilmington/Southern Vermont! The Wilmington Inn is in a beautiful old large home with all the modern conveniences and amenities discreetly added. The rooms are varied, "country-comfy", quiet, charming and everything is very clean. The towels are especially thick, plush and soft and the bedding was very comfortable.
The breakfast offers many choices and is cooked to order, was very tasty and includes fresh fruit, a little something sweet and then a main plate - all were wonderful! The common areas are spacious, and you can relax in the main sitting area, sit outside on the deck, enjoy the outdoor fire pit in the summer, or have a drink from the cozy in-house bar.
The innkeepers are the prize of this place! Charlie and Megan are an unbeatable team who offer excellent and friendly service, superb recommendations for any type of activity/interest, and have just the right interaction and conversation with guests making everyone feel comfortable and "at home" while staying here. In fact, we enjoyed our stay so much, we added on an extra day, and will certainly return for another stay!
We were very pleased and it exceeded our expectations, so it is well worth a visit to explore this beautiful and scenic area, which includes a nice array of restaurants from fine dining to cafes and pubs. Conveniently located just a few miles from the Marlboro Music Festival and Mount Snow, you will be glad you chose to stay at The Wilmington Inn.

We rented out the Inn for our small, intimate wedding weekend with family and a few close friends. We cannot say enough positive things about the Inn itself, the owners (Megan and Charlie), and our experience overall. Megan and Charlie went above and beyond to make sure that our wedding weekend went perfectly. Our guests all loved convening for a delicious breakfast, the location of the Inn to downtown Wilmington (right down the driveway, totally walkable), the congeniality of our hosts, and the beauty/thoughtful touches of the building itself. We will definitely return and cannot recommend the Wilmington Inn highly enough!

Charlie and Megan are wonderful hosts and the Inn is terrific. Delicious breakfasts and lovely common rooms. We stayed here for two nights with our adult children and 3 grandkids. Everyone loved it. (We even got to feed the chickens!)

Our time at the Inn was phenomenal. Megan and Charlie were welcoming hosts who thought of so many small details for my brother's wedding. Overall, the experience was wonderful. We were close walking distance to town and to the restaurant they hosted dinner at. There were also some hiking and running trails nearby. The breakfasts were hearty and delicious -- and we had several celiacs in the group so there were plenty of gluten-free options. From helping us with stain remover the day of the wedding to quickly and seamlessly fixing the screen door after a guest accidentally walked through it, we can't thank Megan and Charlie enough and we can't recommend this Inn enough. It felt like a home away from home!
